It's been a long time since I've had a good ol' game of Chanery Lane and I think the metanet community will love it! We will playing using the original "Zamhandler" rules introduced in the first international Chancery Lane tournament of 1978. Enjoy!
My move is to circle Chorleywood and move towards Elm Park.

Well, looking at the map, I think I'd better go Barking, away from Barkingside.

Hmmm... A safe move... Yet a boring one. I retort with a direct cut through to Fairlop. (ahah! Bet you didn't see that one coming!)xVxCrushloaderusSupremusxVx wrote:Well, looking at the map, I think I'd better go Barking, away from Barkingside.

You've got some balls to be doing that so early. I'm going to steer towards Ravenscourt Park and trust my luck.

One should test the waters before diving in. You will soon see what a terrible mistake you have made. Knightsbridge!Aphex wrote:Hmmm... A safe move... Yet a boring one. OH FUCK! I'll retreat to Euston Square.
Damn gloomp, I haven't seen someone pull a move like that since Aishiba Taichidaki's signature reverse spiral.xVxCrushloaderusSupremusxVx wrote: One should test the waters before diving in. You will soon see what a terrible mistake you have made. Knightsbridge!

Seeing as you've just blocked my path to a quick (albeit risky) victory, i will backtrack to Hammersmith and then delay my next turn so i can reach Stamford Brook station. So much for being in the lead -_-Aphex wrote:OH FUCK! I'll retreat to Euston Square.
Gloomp never said he was good at this game! He's been holding out on us!Aphex wrote: Damn gloomp, I haven't seen someone pull a move like that since Aishiba Taichidaki's signature reverse spiral.

Mmmm... Very sly... Unfortunatly I need to go to bed, so I'm going to circle back around to Hainault so I'm protected while I'm away from the game. However my position also holds the pass to some key areas which gloomp will need if he wants to advance anywhere close to Greenwhich, hence I shouldn't be too far behind when I return.PALEMOON wrote: Gloomp never said he was good at this game! Palemoon, you might also want to be wary about the effect of my blocking of Hainault on your current strategy >:3

Gah! A simple but effective defense, aphex. I suppose now is a good a time as any to go over to Gospel Oak. An obvious move, I know, but it's obvious because it works so well. Anyway, it puts some pressure on palemoon. He's been getting off easy.

Not much i can do at this point with both of you being dicks and trapping me. I'll just consolidate back to Ravenscourt and pout :C

Palemoon might as wel have said he would be scuba diving with Ittoku Kishibe in the place where tracks lead, usually Long Medow Grove.

You have the name wrong. This game is called Mornington Cresent. I have no idea what Chancery Lane is...

Luminaflare, I thought /you/ would know that it was the 3rd edition of the Zamhandler rules which were used in the first international tournament. It was clearly stated in that edition that airports are prohibited from use until phase 3 of the flow (due to the obvious lack of skill it takes to use them to gain an advantage early on). I would ask you to re-take your move so it is more... legal.Luminaflare wrote: Same rules just different name.

In the meantime I will move from my position at Hainault directly over to Heron Quays.

You're going to regret that, sir! I move three spaces to the right and take position at Kilburn.

Aha! Did you think I wouldn't take advantage of that hole in your defenses at Euston? I am not so unobservant, good sir. I dart through to Belsize Park.Aphex wrote:Heeheehee29403 wrote:The Central Line is miinnnneeee

I was thinking the same thing. The whole thread takes a stroll to Pie Forum Square. How will that affect your strategy, players?lord_day wrote:Also. I requeset a move to Fun and Games or the Pie Forum or whatever we call it.

Ah yes, but I forgot to mention that I was wearing a cowboy hat and a bandana and therefore am allowed to hijack stage coaches, horses and air planes. Also I do a loop de loop while flying over the Eiffel tower.Aphex wrote:Luminaflare, I thought /you/ would know that it was the 3rd edition of the Zamhandler rules which were used in the first international tournament. Sonic Speed, peeking out of the M25's kingdom via my speedy reliable (but packed ):) Central Line to Epping, and then onto North Weald.

Obligatory homage to It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. I've hooked up with a prudish yet sassy Brit from Sussex. We are lost.
