i have already made some stuff... here is the drone...

the drone has been given some extra bump feature to make it more 3d like.. and more unique and stylish

this is the lazer drone...

contribute ur ideas... concept art... and 3d renderings or 3d objects....... make them as stylish and unique as possible.. doesnt have to be exactly what is seen in the game.. i hope i get full support in this... i will show what i have as time goes on...

Heh, nevermind. They're all pretty nice, and I like your interpretation of the drones. What program did you use?

Hehe :P well thank you so much. those are created by using 3ds max 2009. the drones are basically a circular eye inside of a bigger eye... the stylish look is from bump mapping....

well anyways... can you provide some ideas into this thing??

i still haven't got any input from any one... and yet i have again completed another model... that is the mines used in the N game... below is a picture of the mine close by and a further away look...

mines...
well i made the mine perfectly round, but, the spikes are uneven and jagged to make sure that the mines have a dirty look on it ;)
please provide feedback on other objects that hasn't been yet created

Those look pretty sweet. I always thought of the switches as buttons, even though they're called switches. :/

I can't wait to see what you do for the thwump.

Those switches are the shit. When you're done you totally need to have the ninja reaching for one of 'em while dodging chaingun drone fire coming from the background.

that's awesome! I never thought of the switches as actual switches, more like touchpads or hand scanners or something

You should look back in the archive/old forum for some of the stuff that MegaGeo did. That guy made some amazing scenes in 3D. Maybe you could get some inspiration from them...

hehe.... i thought the same too.. :P but as i said i wanted to make them different... lol.... touch pads and scanners too seems cool... u have to wait for the thwump, because right now i am doing the chaingun drone....

thanks all for the support :) i have looked into the n game and it turns out that it was not switches after all... it is actually touch pads (as PALEMOON said)

now what??... change the switches into touch pads?? or keep the switches already done??? i think switches are cooler than touch pads for action scenes :)

Wow. The oversized barrels are a fantastic touch. And animated! how long did that take?

Also the switches are definitely cooler the way you made them -- you should leave them as they are. :)

thats just a simple animation :P just rotate a little in the z axis... :P well thanks.. m glad u liked it... i will definitely keep the switches.. :)
the animation and making the gif took only 10-15 minutes... about 45 minutes for making the drone :)

As long as you credit Mare and Raigan for the video I think it should be fine. However if you were to make a 3D game of n you would definately need permission.
well if that's the case i think this is going to be just fine... because i was even planning to give credits to them and the metanet team + all who contribute their help and ideas here...

well anyways.... here is the floor chaser :)

Yeah, I agree with Inspired. Light blue neon light shining from the bottom of the thwump would look nice. And when compared to other amazing stuff you made, it looks like a bit faint and tawdry.

The floorchaser is vaguely cute. I agree with all the thwump feedback (lighting etc.) and I love the drones :)
