as far as map making:
bigger jump pads, faster floor guards, larger mines. improvments on the old stuff. also maybe the ability to change the direction of the tile. instead of a set way have the ability to rotate the piece.
as for maps and levels:
i dont know what to suggest about this one because i dont really plat i just map, but for me i think more of the simple ones would be nice, but the challanging ones are fine too. like i said i dont know what to suggest on it.

Tile overlapping, or "draw your own tileset" kind of thing.
mapping since '06

Has anyone ever suggested x-snap doors? I doubt z-snap or c-snap doors would work as well as x-snap doors.

I think all drone and object based updates should go to Nreality. The only things i really want for v1.5 is an ability to sort trough multiple mappacks in the userlevels area. so i could click to Sunshine Science and play those, then click to Zenith and play those levels. and also of course user episodes.

Giant 2x2 or 3x3 drones which path according to available 2x2/3x3 tile spaces instead of fading into tiles through single block tile paths.
That would be cool.

I think Metanet should forget about updating/making new drones for v1.5. However, I would like to see doors/oneways with X-snap, and able to be placed at 30, 45, and 60 degree angles (to match the tileset currently available). Floorguards and thwumps should also be able to move at these angles. In fact, I'd like to see a wallguard and ceilingguard too.
The map size is too small for most of the things I'd like to do. Why not make the map size customisable?
Also, user episodes. But that goes without saying.

I'd like to see half-oneways too, since they open up a lot of aesthetic and gameplay possibilities.

Anyway, this is a really small thing, but it'd be nice if the legacy columns actually had the names of the authors there, e.g. 145-3 would say "Episode 145 Level 3: Pisces Princess#Nevermore" instead of "Episode 145 Level 3: Pisces Princess#Legacy Team".

they could do that, but it would take a really long time to do so cuz the author's aren't consistent, it might muck with the highscore boards, and it's not that big of a deal.

That's the exact thing we discuss at MoA right now. Well, it didn't turned out as I wanted.cheesemonger wrote:I originally posted this in the wrong topic >.<
