If you are going to change the physics of the game you might as well change this. I can't wait to be able to bwj off a one way facing away from you.Blackson wrote:A suggestion I haven't seen anyone else pose: Fix wall jumping on doors/one ways so it doesn't require an extra frame and to hold the direction toward the door.

As one of the more fickle objects in the game, one-ways have come to serve an important gameplay aspect. Anyone who wants to hinder movement to an area and still allow enemies to "see" the ninja from that area may use one-ways in a wonderful fashion. But on the other hand, one-ways may seem to keep you from places when only a few small interactions with other objects (bounceblocks, thwumps) can push you through the one-way and into another area. This aspect of the object allows for it to be of great use in puzzles, actions... even survivals. Thus the one-way has gained a gameplay "aspect" as opposed to a gameplay "glitch". A glitch is something like tile stutter. That is not an aspect of the tile, as it serves no helpful purpose in the gameplay. Thus removing tile stutter will increase the benefit of using slanted tiles. Removing one-way glitches will decrease the benefit of using one-ways.
Not that we were going to remove the glitches, I just wanted to post my very unformed opinion. I'm tired, hopefully this made sense even though it doesn't sound very persuasive to me.

I don't think it would be that much trouble to add a text "editor" to N. And it would save both time and trouble by allowing users to access maps there.Slayr wrote:how about a save button? instead of having to put it in user levels just click ctrl+s.
Another feature I'd like a a "Next Level" button in Userlevels Mode when you play. Or a mode where it automatically advances to the next map. It would eliminate the need to go back and forth between the maps and the list and make it feel like you're playing them as a set, not just individual maps.

Oh, and a replay levels choice. Sometimes I just don't finish a level the way I want, so a replay option would be nice. Of course, if you fail after that, the first completion run would count.

TheRealOne wrote:Hey M&R not to sound impatient, but you guys have not updated the Metablog in a while or posted in any of the v1.5 threads. I understand that it takes a long time to rewrite all of the code you guys have to deal with, but I am sure there has been some progress made and myself and I am sure others would want to hear about any and all updates and progress for v1.5. Some of us have been waiting over half a decade for this so please don't leave us in the dark.
We regret to bring you such bad news, but look on the bright side: Unicorns.

That's just what they want you to believe but you forget Canada has a lot of secret projects in the Arctic. Did you not see the 850-metre wide beaver dam they are probably hiding their KaNuclear Missiles in?Universezero wrote:Of course not; Mare and Raigan aren't unicorn breeders or anything.bobaga_fett wrote:bullshit. I don't see that anywhere on the blog site.
EDIT:
Even the United States recognizes the importance Unicorn Power will have as an essential part of Homeland Security.
