Dear M&R,

As someone who has played this game for over half a decade I can honestly say I love this game. I has been so much fun over the years if not a lot of frustration too. I have enjoyed every minute of playing and mapping. I eagerly await v1.5, but I'm not holding my breath. I understand that if v1.5 ever comes out it will take a lot of work to get it to where it can be released. However, I ask of you that you clear the hackers from the boards while we wait for v1.5. I can't imagine that it would take you more than 10 or 15mins to do. I can provide a list of every run on the boards where the player's demo does not match their score (ie. all of the hackers)

Please listen to my request; it would create a resurgence to highscoring with all of the open top-20 positions. Currently there are over 2000 hacked runs on the boards, that is 1/5th of all available top-20 positions. This is a clear problem that can be easily resolved. Yes there will be new hackers, but I will personally keep track of them and they can be dealt with in the future.

Weapons (Ratchet & Clank Style !!)

IDK if u are looking for 4 gameplay ideas yet or if this was said already but i wanted 2 make sure the idea was heard if it wasn't. I thought it would be kool if u had different weapons in N v1.5. (Maybe a separate weapons mode if not in the main game). If you've ever played Ratchet & Clank (i think it was "Going Commando") i was thinking 1 of the weapons could be like the ninja stars u get 2 use, and bounce off walls, enemies, and other objects. This would be in 2D of course. Maybe u could also have other weapons like bazookas, rocket launchers, laser guns etc. and maybe even be able to pause or slow down time (also like Ratchet & Clank) in order 2 cycle through the different weapons. Anyway i thought I would add my 2 cents and again i don't know if it was said already.

P.S. Some type of Competitive or non competitive Multiplayer would also be nice too. (Maybe even online !! :)

/i think it takes off some of the N of N cause there has to be a reason why you can't kill in the first place also a second mode is sort of like a new game... multiplayer is years away (probably)

New drones would be fantastic. I'm sure you guys can come up with some really creative ones. Last N's drones were good, but not great. Maybe ricochet bots or something that would really spice up the experience instead of just dodging, you know?
Can't wait for the new update. Multiplayer is a great idea, but not likely. Though they did it on the xbox version.
I always thought it would be great if drones collided. I always want to leap out of the way as two floor drones smash into each other and explode :P

Considering that local multiplayer was done for N Arcade, and that they've apparently rewritten the code to make it way less of a headache to implement than it would've been earlier, I don't think multiplayer is that far out of the question anymore.

they should make it where you have to log in to get to your data and unlocked flavors, episodes, etc. because i have a computer with all flavors unlocked and have N on my laptop also but i dont wanna have to unlock all those flavors again. also one time my computer had a virus and i had to wipe out the harddrive and had to start all over in N. so wouldnt mind having a log-in feature in v1.5

EDIT: also a new epic story line would be cool

They said they already did. They made it so that you don't have to move side to side to make the bb go lower when landing on it. As opposed to when you don't move at all and the bb doesn't get pushed down as far. I would have liked it if they had just added new features and left the physics exactly the same. I love all of the little "bugs" because they are predictable and add a element of difficulty to the game.

Sadly now that they have already changed that and the "skipping" while sliding up a slope, most demos will be broken, so I suppose the reasoning now is that they have already broken every existing demo, they might as well change what they want to.

Assuming v1.4 isn't going anywhere (lol it isn't its a file duh), simply using different highscore boards for v1.5 (or v2 depending on what it's designated) would prevent invalid demos everywhere.

Why not play with the mechanics a little?

You guys need to learn to let go, it's been oh so many years now. Change is good - especially when it's entirely reversible by simply keeping playing v1.4 anyway.

I'd like to see the old physics preserved in the new version as "classic" mode but tbh I'm not that fussed. New N should be new, and as awesome as the current bounceblocks are I'm open to them changing.

So I suppose nothing is really going to happen about the hackers on the highscore boards huh? I can't imagine it would take that long to delete all of the hacked scores, you even had a thread for it on the old forums. If for some reason your system doesn't save runs part the top-20 don't worry about the blank spaces, yes it will be slightly unfair to those who have those positions rightfully, but most of them have quit ages ago and the slots will be quickly filled by people who want to have their name up in lights. The reason I bring this up, yet again, is this: 168 brand new hacked scores, these score happened in the last 24 hours. 168 of them, this is a serious problem, please for the love of N do something about it.
