Uhhh.. in an italian class, this girl I sat next to had been playing it a while and copied it for me. Mid 2005, I think. Or might have been 2004. I remember it used to take me about 20 seconds to climb up a wall :P

I beat the first episode then gave up because I could not beat 1-0 (I know, I was a n00b @ that time and had no persistence) Then, one day (2006 I think), I was with a friend when he brought up the game. He told me about the downloaded version. I downloaded it and was instantly hooked. Now, 2 years later, I have just 16 episodes to go in the game.
Well, here's a full history of me:

Summer 04: Plays "N-game" on AddictingGames
Fall 04: Gets bored of game.
Spring 06: Interested in Line Rider, searches. "N-Game" pops up from AddictingGames
Summer 06: I play and get bored again, until a friend shows me the game. Only it has 100 episodes.
I went, WTF? but DID NOT ask him how to do it. I googled "N-Game 100 episodes"
Link 1 = Metanet Software downloads
I download Nv1.4
Fall 06: I discover NUMA. I lurk around for a while, then join sometime in early 07.

Was in a computers room (in a class) and a friend of mine, while searching for free online games, found this one. He showed to me. They passed some levels and gave up. I didn't. I found the game sexy, original, fast and super-uber-spectacular.

When I got home, I played it for a bit. Some days after (don't know how many), I found NUMA and the community. Played some maps (races mostly) and made some.

Oh, and at first time, my first impression of the "n" symbol was "That's SEXY"

I'm always drawing it. ^^

3 years ago, I played n. I abandoned it.
In the 2008 school year, my friend gave me a thumbdrive with n on it.

Found it through AddictingGames, downloaded it fall of '07. Made a few maps, deleted 95% of them, and I got back into it this fall.

I watched somebody find it accidentally on their laptop while poking around albinoblacksheep; I then promptly wasted an hour and a half of study hall every other day playing the 30-episode version. After finding the legit version, joined NUMA the next summer (2007 methinks) and successfully hijacked a programming class by introducing the game to everyone there (However, half quit after finding themselves unable to complete level 1-0, which they unanimously dubbed "Mexico." ) I've never actually gotten bored with the game for more than a day or two...

Read about it in a PSP magazine, which said something like: Why would you buy it on the PSP if there was a free downloadable one on the Internet? 'Cause it's addictive, that's why.
It also said it was pretty good. So, months later, I looked it up, found it. Saw the NUMA link in the User levels menu, went there. I now have 15 maps.
Rikaninja showed me these forums a while later, and sent me a PM that said: "You seem familiar. I remember your username from somewhere. Do I know you? :("
Yes, he did use a sad face.
So, here I am.

My dad downloaded N first. I watched him play and tried it myself too. I got addicted immediately. Then I found the NUMA link, and realised that I can make maps myself.

Same situation as Pheidi and George. I was completely addicted around November-ish, then I went home, downloaded the game, got a NUMA account, and that's why you see me on these forums today.

Some high schooler was helping in our *wee elementary* class, and played it during "recess" while I was inside helping clean up a mess. He gave it to me, and I discovered the forums through the NUMA link. I didn't sign up for another ?3? years later though.

When I was in high school I played an obscene amount of flash games online instead of doing homework. One day I found the first three columns online. Then when I went off to college I found the full game and have been playing since.

Friend mentioned it on his blog, I downloaded it, and then quickly forgot about it.

Four months later, I picked it back up, found NUMA, and joined the forums shortly thereafter. The rest is history.

From GTM, in a Physics or Chemistry class. He went on the forums while I did the work, often. Recommended the forums, and I joined, and played the game. A little bit.

Still. Thank GTM's boredom for why I'm here.
