However I've only properly formatted the winners and haven't even linked most of the winner's maps... even just a little bit of help updating this would go a long, long way. Thanks in advance.

i've updated it with your links, and also linked up a majority of the nominated users to their respective wiki pages... it's about 80%+ done, but it's more complete than most of the other years...

Speaking of Lifetime Achievement Awards, we should designate a separate group on the forums for our most proficient and successful mappers so that newcomers will have somebody(ies) from which they can draw inspiration and insight. Just a thought.

I had a very similar idea to this, that involved chronicling the best maps of each of our most recognized mappers. If you would be interested in getting both of these things together with me, could be a fun project.

I wanted to do that as well, in an attempt to help M&R choose maps the new 80s column (for any maps that will work with the new physics). Although I could easily see Yahoozy/astheoceansblue/PALEMOON each with their own column in the game. But anyway, there's a huge gap between old and new mappers today which I think is caused by the general lack of information /about/ the old authors. It's time we educate our youth!SlappyMcGee wrote:I had a very similar idea to this, that involved chronicling the best maps of each of our most recognized mappers. Is that against the rules? I don't really care, I just want you to have to find the relevant part of the rules, post it here and chastise me.SlappyMcGee wrote:This is the equivalent of posting "lol".
It was a great post, regardless.

If this is going to be your policy, I'll just ban you and add it into the rules. Don't be a cunt.boozy panache wrote:Is that against the rules? You need 2/3 majority to change the Metanet Constitution, I hope. Due process, etc.SlappyMcGee wrote:If this is going to be your policy, I'll just ban you and add it into the rules. If this happens, it'll be Pony Parade all over again. Except instead of Pony, it'll be 'Lol'. God help us all.boozy panache wrote:You need 2/3 majority to change the Metanet Constitution, I hope. The Metanet constitution is much like the United Kingdom's unwritten constitution. Just as all Acts of Parliament have supremacy over everything else in the UK, all Acts of SlappyMcGee have supremacy over the rest of Metanet.boozy panache wrote:You need 2/3 majority to change the Metanet Constitution, I hope.
