Corner Jumps

Ah, ok. Many of us still refer to them as lookatthis bounceblock cornerjumps. Well I do, at least without lookatthis in it.

So that means that thwump cornerjumps are walljumps too, right?

Well, that super bounce block jump has always been around, long before lookatthis's time. And I wouldn't necessarily class the thwump corner jump as a wall jump, but it actually looks like the ninja is jumping on the corner. If you get what I mean.

I know what you mean. Corners on Thumps ws the first I learnt, I love them! Far better than normal ones, butI like the ones in ep 122 or 121!

I have never really seen lookatthis on NUMA or on the TheRealNForums. And I just recently perfected those of, well, kind of. I cna do them 8/12. So, 1/3. I can one sick corner jump in 1499333 and a chance to do one in 149963! :)

Me, rabarint? Nah...

Glad my run (I assume the 63-3 one?) helped you realize what corner jumps are. When I first started playing, I did ones randomly and not on purpose, without really realizing what it was I did. Just keep practicing at them and you'll be getting them fairly consistently pretty soon.

He left a few months ago. I don't think he ever made maps.

How do you do reverse cormer jumps? Are they like perpendicular jumps off corners or something? I have never tried to do one of those before, but I am about to complete the Legacy Pack and with 197-4 looming on the horizon...

It is the same principle as doing a perpendicular off of a slant. you either hold the opposite direction once you hit the corner and hit jump, or you can hold no direction and you will do a slightly less dramatic reverse corner.

I doubt it, because of the reverse part.

Corner jumps are awesome; I can do normal corner jumps fairly consistently, but reverse ones give me trouble (though I can do them occasionally).

I could be possible if you were already traveling fast enough to die then did a RCJ, But otherwise no.

I can't do really amazing jumps where you fly across the screen whenever i want, but i can do the little wimpy ones that help getting over mines and stuff

Ah, 96-4 is the farthest I've ever gotten on the 90's column.

I like corner jumps, except for the fact that I can't pull them off consistently. Pulling one off and seeing the ninja fly off afterwards gives a very satisfying feeling.

Anyway, i've started getting back into N. I need to pratise corners again also. I've finished 00 collumn, 10, 20, 40, 60, 70 and 90. Couple more to go in basic N! I need to get my cj's and speed going!
