If you are proud of any particular corner-jumps you have performed then post them here and discuss.

I always seem to play a map more when I can pull off a corner jump. I've been successful at them a lot lately, so inevitably, I've played a small amount of maps more versus a lot of maps once.

Probably my favorite corner jump would have to be on my NUMA map 21 highscore run.
Edit: Actually, I think I have to go with my jumps at the end of 63-3. I was able to string 2 of them together consecutively, with the gold, and it got me my first metanet 0th. (Curse you TFK for beating it within the hour with a new route ><)
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point
[16:25] <trance> Oh, yeah. That level.
[16:29] <@golfkid> lol
[16:30] <@golfkid> It looks so simple
[16:30] <@golfkid> But it says "NO! I will rape your sanity!"

There isn't really any quick way to learn how to corner jump apart from practice... You normally only have a space of one frame to pull off the jump.superjumninja wrote:Can someone help me on how to do corner jumps? They are so hard to learn.
One way to practise is just put a couple of tiles and a ninja together in Ned and do some jumping. But the only way to achieve any consistency is repetition and improving your timing.

Especially if the level was especially hard and/or tedious.Condog wrote:Corner jumps are especially satisfying when you use them to skip massive parts of a level. It feels so good.

You'll have mastered corner kicks when you can beat this map in under 15 seconds.superjumninja wrote:How long will it take to master them? I'm not rushing, I don't care if it will take a whole year to master.

Errr...the map ain't mine...And you might want to refer to the 'black' and 'blue' things as door and exit switches...Rikaninja wrote:Clever map George! I can get the two black things but I can't get the blue thing. I once got the blue thing and hit the mine above it! I'm so saving that level!

I knew that sounded like one of tk's simple challenge maps when I saw the number... That really is a good map to practice corner jumps on, makes you get a couple different angles off it.George wrote:You'll have mastered corner kicks when you can beat this map in under 15 seconds.superjumninja wrote:How long will it take to master them? Life247: Yes that's fast enough, and a good start, now try to do it in under 15 seconds non-fbf'd.

I can't not-fbf a demo to save my life. it's become second nature for me.
EDIT: I tried.
