That's merely opinion. However, he certainly crafted some of the community's most well known races.

Imo, destiny, da_man984 (or something like that) and riobe are the ones to look out for atm. Formica was good admittedly, but he's long gone now.

Oh yeah, his races were great too, thanks for reminding me. I think he still hangs around but hasn't done any major mapping lately.

I like Riobe's and formica's races. And of course destiny's. But as an oer all map-maker i love maximo. When ifirs started on map-making I kept looking back on his nv1.4 user level maps.

I don't play many races, but my brother, who did, always liked marijandres. Marijandandres? Marejandre. Something like that. Sorry I can't remember how to spell the name :/

I think its mariejnenandries. Psycho_CO was another good one from back in the day, while we're talking about old-school race-makers.

destiny and riobe are ok. formica is definitely not the best racemaker on numa in my opinion. i think da_man is the best racemaker of all time. bunniesandsheep and calamity are up there as well.

Rocket thwumped is still around he submited a map not to long ago. Other than him, I also like formica, and in my opinion da_man isn't that good.

I don't have a favourite race author, I just have favourite races, and the top 5 races belong to rocket_thumped, heatwave21, amlt and b3njamin. I don't think I have to mention the fifth, as you could guess from the topic of this thread.

In fact, only a few of the veterans remain. (The ones you've heard of.)

I really like MARIJNENANDRIES and Psycho_CO myself, as far as people who consistently make/made races. A lot of other guys have made really cool ones, like Ad and Pheidi.

That's kinda it, along with bunnies. None of these new racers really do it for me.epigone wrote:I really like MARIJNENANDRIES and Psycho_CO myself, as far as people who consistently make/made races. A lot of other guys have made really cool ones, like Ad and Pheidi.
