Getting smashed by a high speed tile drone. It sounds like your getting gored by a hammer.

Launchpadding onto a spike.

Pinned down between a zap drone and a tile, so you are repeatedly and infinitely shocked by the zap drone and ram into the tile.

Falling from a great height and hearing that crunching sound.

Spike is putting on a show to this effect come February.

Getting sniped by the Gauss in a jump.

Dying while "touching" the exit...and having the game say you died.

Far and away, dying right before the exit on an awesome run. So much so that I'm not even gonna use the 2nd vote available, because nothing else comes close.

Getting carried up by a thwump elevator right into a spike, then having your corpse fall to the ground, explode on impact and having the floorguards play with the pieces.

Also, I'll go with the option I chose on my version of this thread and say being caught in crossfire between laser drones is horrible. You know your fate as assured, which makes it even worse as you wait helplessly.

Also, this poll is pointless. There's way too many different options you havent included (so the poll will be hopelessly inaccurate) and including those wouldnt produce any beneficial results. So it's pretty much fail fail.

Edit: It wasn't pointless, it was a good example of the horrors of laser drones. But w/e.

I think being crushed would be more painful.

It's got to be the timer and being impaled by a '2' spike.

I'll say this is a pretty horrible death:

Getting dead ended is the worst for me.

Close seconds are dying from gravity after a great run, or gaining velocity from a thwump and hitting into a wall.

Death after pulling an amazing run. Some of my best runs were spoilt by a crappy finishes.

gravity is the Worst way to die because it makes me feel Stupid that i couldn't plan that close enough ahead.
