Just wondering...

For me, it's the "sort of" option. NReality only gives me a completely grey screen and the thing about N is that it doesn't recognise my progress even though the .sol file is there in the right place. So I spend time playing NUMA levels just by pasting the level data into the textbox in userlevels. And I can't submit scores. It's not quite the same experience.
Achievements:

Completed N and NReality.
106 N v1.4 highscores.
I used to maintain 1000 NReality Level Top20 Highscores - Ranked 0th
Former Owner of Episode 169, way back when.
I've taken 10 Metanet 0ths. 6 of them lasted <2 days. I don't have any of them anymore. >:(
Third Place in BLUR 4 highscore.
Not highscoring anymore until v2.

In high school, I did. Mostly N, but I played NReality for a brief stint. In college, though, I don't bring my computer to any of my classes, so I don't play it in class. I guess I still play it /at school/, though, seeing as I'm always, technically, at school.

The thing about having a 1st gen netbook is that... *embarrassment* the screen is too small to play n ;_; (otherwise, it would run just fine).

Not at all. NReality is great in many respects, but it's built to be unstable. On the occasions when I open up N, I'll probably screw around with it for a bit, then just leave it open in the background while I do other stuff, maybe go watch a movie or something. I don't play N all that much anymore, so how I generally end up making maps is by having N there, within easy reach. If you're the sort of person (like I know you are, iban) who plays N in most of their free time, then NReality is the logical option, but if you just leave it sitting there, it will crash itself as inevitably as the tides coming in. But Nv1.4 will not, because if it's anything at all, it's a stable motherfucker, which is just what I need.

I've learned this the hard way - I lost some maps on NReality's crashes :(

yeah. that mostly where i play it. I've made 90% of all my maps from there, as that s the reason why they arent too great. XD
(amazingly, I'm posting this from school. A miracle it doesn't block it.)

I dont play N in most of my free time.. i do other stuff too & not all is games (maybe 50% of free time, i do read & do more stuff btw).

Well, i retract my statement. At school i only have nreality & its on a flash drive which would/does use up a lot of space to have both on their. @ home i have both & usually play the v1.4 as i like the message bar on the left in editor.

and yes, i lost an n-art once to an nreality crash... got me so mad but at least it was only about 1/2 done =[

Bahahahaa.... my parents are crazy about viruses, so I have a limited account no downloads, when I can use the computer 100x better than my dad who's the admin.
And N isn't really violent, just *fake* gory.

I can play it, but there's no point in me playing it because I don't memorize NUMA map data.

I voted "no" though, because our computer system contains both Macs and XP computers. The Macs prevent the game from running at all, by saying "You do not have permission to open this application." But it works just fine on the XP ones. Still, I'm never using an XP during the school day.
