is my frame rate on n slow?

for some reason my frame rate on n is around 30-40 ms/f on my windows ME. but on my mom's XP, its around 3-4 and i play better.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 8 ms/f is the ideal rate.

What are the specs for your Windows ME computer? Chances are you might have some trouble running N if your computer is more than a decade old.

...Yeah to be running N decently Pentium 4 minimum.

That said the computer is just generally terrible, where I used to work we got payed to take away old computers for recycling, anything P4 or above we'd refurbish and sell on. Your computer is one we'd throw away, hell a computer at high spec than that is about £20.

You're running a system that, I'm guessing, is nearly as old as you are. What do you expect? You can get a better system for under $100, which is cheaper than the average textbook.
