when you play N is your sound on or off, my friend hates the sound with a passion while i don't mind it so much.

I have it on just low enough so I can hear it if I don't have music playing, and I can't if I do. I like my N sounds (=

Sound off. Often I'm listening to music and watching TV at the same time so it'd really be too much.

Not really, after many time playing N the sound of dying was driving me crazy so I turned it off

On, but only when Im playtesting. Chainguns and rockets can be bastards with the sound turned off.

I usually do, unless my roommate is trying to sleep, then I turn it down. I find it much easier to keep track of seekers, rockets, lasers, and chainguns this way. I also usually have music on while playing.

...you cant. You CAN set the volume in N to 0 though and then play your own music in the background

I usually play with the sound on. It feels weird for me to not be able to hear what I'm doing, and for some reason that messes me up.
