Glitches

As there are a number of glitches in N, I though they should all be identified. Here are a few of the lesser known:

Tile Drone Canon (No launchpad)
Thwump Cannon
Get to this position and then jump: Image.

Dude, those are the most common glitches used in a map, or in highscore routes.

Heck, most glitches (especially the myriad that involve going through one-ways) are so often used as mechanics in maps that I honestly can't say I see them as "bugs" sense anymore so much as just the way N works. If these were to be "fixed," a lot of awesome maps would cease to work, so they aren't really "glitches" in the traditional sense anymore.

One thing that I (think that I) remember M&R saying they were trying to fix for Nv1.5 was the way the ninja kinda stutters when skidding to a halt up a slope. That's the only "bug" I can think of in N.

-One another bug is left and downward facing one-ways are off by 1-frame.

A frame is one instance of the game being rendered (ms/f stands for milliseconds/frame, why MnR can't use FPS I don't know)

._. I'm sure the bugs that you posted are much more well known than the ones in the first post.

One "bug" that's always bothered me is when you land on a 2 or 3 tile that has a mine on the opposite face and summarily cease to exist despite the odds.

I'm mad at the glitches.. I made many levels a long time ago when my custom levels didn't work, so I only tested in NED.. When I tested them in the normal custom levels half of them don't work. Mostly when the glitch occurs, everything except the ground no longer does anything and my guy goes through it..

You've experienced the ghost glitch. Basically you hit a launch pad at the same time as your ninja dies, and then the effect you described occurs. In the future, don't ghost your ninja! :O

There have been quite a few times when I've had to go with alternate mechanics in my maps because of that.

Also, many times the following bug has prevented me from doing what I want in a map: you know when you stack a locked door and a normal door together, the normal door will never allow you through? I can't tell you how many times I would love to have a player unlock access through a door while keeping it closed (for drone pathing, separation of sections, etc).
