N Lag?

Whenever I play N on my Windows 7 computer, It takes up at least 50% of the CPU, usually higher, at values around 90%. I turn off stuff like Firefox but lag spikes occur. I found that svchost.exe can cause extreme lag, but that only occasionally happens. Is there a way to rid of the high CPU usage?

Direct your complaints to Adobe. Flash blows goats at efficient CPU usage.

Consider putting the quality down too. Antialiasing can kick old computers/netbooks/small notebooks in the face, if you're running on one.

Turn off Windows Aero to Windows Basic.

I have already turned Windows Aero off to Windows 7 Basic. I have tried to turn the quality down, but strangely it has no effect on the CPU. I guess I'll have to put up with it. Thanks for the help anyways, guys. :)

This may have something to do with older flashplayers not working properly with Windows 7.. performance should be greatly improved when we recompile the ported version for player10.
