If any of you used to or will want to use the numADD extension, the link on nmaps.net does not work and has not for quite a long time. But I messed around with the file and got it to work!
All I had to do was make the maximum firefox version higher than 3.2, and there was another problem in the file where the hostname for the site was expected to be "nmaps.net" but the web administrators of the site must have changed it to "
www.nmaps.net" so I fixed that. Luckily the newer versions of Firefox caused no problems with the original code so that was all that I needed to do.
To install the extension for Firefox, download the link below and then drag it onto the Firefox window. You can find the numAdd button to add to the tool bar by right clicking on the toolbar and selecting customize. The button should be at the bottom of the list.
Enjoy!
If you have any requests for edits to the file feel free to ask. I don't know the Firefox scripting language but I could figure it out. Also some edits are pretty simple like the ones I did without even knowing the scripting language. Even better, if anyone else wants to take up the project who knows firefox extension scripting that would be great.
If you want to try messing around with the file like making custom edits (I might make some custom options for myself), download the file and replace .xpi with .zip. You can then extract it and mess around. The script files are in "chrome->content->" and you can edit any of those files with wordpad or notepad.
