My maps are all crummy. I will make one that people like once in a while. I will make random maps but I don't know what to ad to "complete" the maps. Most all of my maps end up with boring gameplay, cramming of stuff, or just plain annoying.

So if you could look at my maps and give me some POLITE advice, it would be much appreciated.

This is neither the space nor the format for requests of such nature. Scroll down to N discussion.

In global

- I think you need more "colorful" maps, that is not to use only one or two type of enemies;
- you should make them harder; before submitting see is it really worth of it (Prescription, beyond pointless,Great Sphinx etc. should never get submitted);
- use some gold in case that the map looks empty

Example:
Nmaps.net
or if you find that empty this is good:
Nmaps.net
you get the point...These are not so good exaples but choose yourself a topic[about map,like this:futuristic,simple,odd,agd,speedrunner,KRA,DDA,Mine dodger,etc.)
And if you can't find any ideas for map,look around your room,your street,something that it's design is good so you can make a map like it's design so it'll be good.When I go out of ideas I do this and it works everytime.Just look more carefully.

Here are a bunch of links you could use to improve your map making skills.

http://jeffkillian.com/NUMA.htm
http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to- ... d-N-Level/
http://forum.therealn.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1222

Look around NUMA, get some opinions (IRC works very well in that regard), and practise as much as you can.
