Actually I don't how to code snap but I know a lot about it.But it depends to situation, but if I can do code snap,I would prefer z-snap because it looks more artistic and natural.

I can move objects by pixels using the mouse. I find code editing tedious unless it is for teleporters or glitched objects.

There's no such thing as Z-snap. There's no snap, namely. :P
I never have any reason to do so. C-snap works fine for me.
There are rare occasions (such as making those sort of glitched thwumps) where I need more precision, and in such cases I code edit.

Actually, it does snap, because you can place an object at half-pixel increments. It snaps it to the pixel. The Kitchen Sink wrote:There's no such thing as Z-snap. There's no snap, namely. :P

z snap all the way, but code editing when i make a NaN on a drone, or a glitched item on nreality. but i use z snap more.

And what do all of you use z-snap for? You clearly don't need it...I agree with the GHM stance. Maybe if you spent more time getting the best out of x- and c-snap, you'd make better maps.

I rarely need it, but when I'm using arcs or need to get a slightly slanted effect, I see no problem with using it.mintnut wrote:And what do all of you use z-snap for?
