In the description for N Mapping there says: "Share and discuss your maps, map packs..."

I know it's not a big deal, but I think this should be fixed.

You mean administrators. Us lowly moderators can't change subforum descriptions.

Handle this through PM next time, hmm?

How is it a typo? The Map Packs forum description says "extra-large," so the N Mapping subforum can be used for smaller map packs, or more low-key map packs. You can also reference map packs while talking about level design for individual levels.

*thread opened* just in case this actually warrants a discussion. If it doesn't, it'll just fall to the bottom of the active threads list anyway.

That's a bold assumption. And to avoid hypocrisy, I agree with EdoI about the description. N Mapping is no longer the place for map packs, in my opinion. Why would you split them based on size? They're all map packs.

That reminds me - N Mappacks should become N Map Packs, or N Map-packs. :-)

I cocked my eyebrow so hard at that, it just hit the ceiling. There's blood everywhere and everyone is panicking. I'll send you the medical bill once I get this all sorted out and my eyebrow reattached.
How... um... how long have you been a member here? You should have seen countless topics drop off the active threads when there's been nothing to say. It's, like, part of the natural flow of a forum. It's just the way of things. I mean, just look through the history of inactive threads here and count how many are only inactive because they were locked.

In short, I don't like your tone, mister.

Holy crap, we're just full of strong words today, aren't we?
How the heck would it be hypocritical? It's inconsistent, sure, but not hypocritical. You can't make a declarative statement with a label anyway.

I mean, damn, fine, *changed*. I don't want to be a hypocrite, or something.

If this doesn't stay for a long time, I'll put it in an archive, right now:
Do you like maps? I like maps. I used to make maps. But not now. Since NUMA is dead and all. And not named NUMA anymore. NMaps? Really? Who came up with that shit? You all know that Map Packs are all the rage these days, right? Or is it map-packs? Mappacks? Hm. Well, I guess they're not the rage anymore. Maybe back in '05. That's when Legacy started y'know. Man, it's been five years, y'dig? That's nuts, broseph. Speaking of which, who calls people broseph? That shit is bananas. Man, I haven't been on the IRC in a grip-and-a-half. I wonder what's been up with that place. Wait, we have a new IRC, don't we? Someone hook me up with that shit. Same with Vent. Do we even have a Vent server anymore? I could've sworn we put up a new one. Ah, well. Hey, I'm kinda hungry. I'ma get me a sammich. BRB.
Anyway, Ampersand, you're admin or something? I think you said on one topic that you're locking it and it was really locked, and now this (if you've done anything of this), but why isn't your username yellow?

Whoa, Tsukatu. I think we have a colossal misundestanding here.

I was just referring to the habit of spambots and careless members to revive topics that have outlived their usefulness, is all. It was in no way against you or anything. Neither was the "hypocrisy." I was saying that I would be a hypocrite to pointlessly bump a topic with a post about people who pointlessly bump topics, and so to avoid this I gave my opinion in an attempt to add to the conversation.

In short, I know that many many topics die a peaceful death, but I was just kidding around about the few that catch our eye every so often by returning from the dead with the help of someone who didn't pay heed to timestamps.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. No harm done, I hope?

It really doesn't take a rocket surgeon to notice that a seemingly mundane member is performing administrative tasks.
You could have hidden it if you wanted to.

Oh, no no. I'm not hiding *now*. I tried for my first few posts before LV messaged me "AMPERSAND AMPERSAND AMPERSAND AMPERSAND," which was about 16 hours in, so I abandoned the crusade, and made another account, which will shortly be found out as well, since I've now outed that one.

Plus, this signature is the same one that Gloomp made me for my Val Vorpone account, tweaked for this one.

Heh, I lost that one long ago, so I had to make the new one from scratch using the original as reference. It was so long ago, I only found the font by sheer luck.
