How do i Make a Map?

on the main menu of the program, press the '\' key, it is next to z btw. if you get stuck from there, dont hesitate to ask. after all, you are OFFICIALLY the lonliest member. lol.

delta, please tell me how \ is next to z, or at least tell me it was a typo. They're on opposite sides of the keyboard.

Either press ` or \ to access edit mode.
It's self explanatory from there. Just press the keys that correspond to what you want to do.
E to edit, and Insert for objects, Delete for tiles.

1. Open N
2. Press the ~ key or the \ key
3. press e to edit
4. Press delete or insert keys to make tiles and objects

Once you are done with your map or if you feel like playtesting, press the 'home' key then press the ~ or \ key.
To play your map, after you press the ~ or \ key, press P to play it (make sure caps lock is on).
once your done playing press the ~ or \ key to bring you back to the main menu, then press R to reset objects if you like.

Hope that helps, should be self explanitory after you do step 2.

Listen to blackson--he's a certified genius. But really, GTM nailed it. There IS a manual, and it DOES have the answer to your question.

now they even include a word file so you dont have to use notepad to read it!
i remember when i had to convert it myself...
taught myself how to use it, then realized:
hey, userlevels doesnt work if i dont have userlevels in the same folder as n, and there is a readme and user manual!
seriously though, teach yourself by playing the game (probably 2 episodes per column or 1 column) how the physics work and what will work well. it will seriously help you to ame levels.

edit: 1 more episode per column, or 10 episodes will help
