If you wish to participate in this poll, please play all the following maps and honestly think through an answer.
If you post that you voted, and please be honest, I will RCE 10 of your maps as a payment for this experiment. If you leave a valuable (yes its subjective) comment describing why you liked a map better compared to its letter counterpart, I'll RCE 15 of your maps.
Instructions: Each of the following maps is labeled with a letter and number, such as A1 and A2. Play both of the maps, pick which one of the two was most enjoyable to play or that you felt most confident playing. Then fill out the poll.

A2:
B1:

C1:
C2:
For the following, please vote _1 for a left route or _2 for a right route. On these letters, please play it as if speedrunning.

E1 over E2 and F1 over F2 because I get this weird impulse to run towards something rather than away.
Otherwise, I enjoyed/unenjoyed the other ones each equally, because it doesn't really matter to me which way to go if it takes the same amount of time to get to an exit in either direction. :)
Hope that helps with your experiment.

I suggest you userlevel it as a mappack, and then post the same topic in the Mappack forum. It's not going to go over well if people have to constantly copy and paste.

I found that I was most comfortable with the map I played first and a little uncomfortable with its counterpart. This was true even when I played the 2's first. Therefore I can't vote in your poll...

I'm hoping this isn't a map pack... for obvious reasons. But generally, I prefered to run where there was an object or any semblance of gameplay. Whereas I'd run right if both options were exactly equal.

For some reason, when I'm presented with going to different ways, that have equal sitations and outcomes (symmetric), I tend to go right. I think this is because I'm right handed but I don't know exactly why. Also, I chose going left in the ones near the end with the mine(s), because it felt like I was going toward something. Eh, I don't know. I like the general concept of this whole experiment though.

G and H are ones, because of the gold and the feeling of triumph over the floorgaurd and mines. E was freaking me out because the mine kept staring at me. I thought it would like, activate rape or something to that effect. So E2 for me. (Same for G)

I go right unless something compels me not to. The one exception was in the A level, I preferred going left and having the exit door on the right.

i preferred A1 to A2 because i took the left hand side first, and thus having to go farther to get the key added an (extremely minimal) amount of depth. i preferred B1 to B2 because the direction the ninja traveled was to the left, and the left has always appealed to me as being more complex and challenging. so that one was just me. i preferred C1 to C2 because i have seen the key on the left hand side of a map generally more often than on the right side, i guess. it just seemed more familiar to me. i voted D2, E1, F2 (though i jumped to the right wall first and came back around to collect both door switches and the gold before finishing left), G1, H1.

I chose A1, B1 and C1 as most of the time I like to start going left. On A1 I went left even though it would be quicker to go right.
D2 I think I started going right for a change.
E2 Didn't fancy my chances against the mine.
F2 I went right first, but then wanted to do it again to get the gold.
G1 The right exit seemed a bit boring I think.
H1 The mines were more interesting to look at, and it seemed more fun.
