I'm not so hip on the new and up coming map makers. So I made this thread for people who aren't reviewers but know of a map they think is worthy of a feature.

No gloomp, this thread should be for under the radar maps. I recommend Afternoondragon Step04.

- Map must have been made in last 4 months.

I don't agree with this. There are plenty of authors who haven't been around for longer than that who have maps that are worthy of feature attention.

What? I don't know what you're saying.

Anyways, I put this rule in because I'm trying to find /new/ maps that are worthy of a feature. I know of plenty of old maps that are worthy of a feature. Sorry you don't agree with my rules.

I would like it if you continued to feature old maps. Someone has to.

I'll try again:

There are many Authors who produced feature 'quality' maps, who are worthy of the attention, but left months before your four month limit. Are you saying we need to start another thread for these people if we want to highlight them?

In fact, this will of even greater value as many of the users active today don't know anything about the older generation of mappers (apparent with the comments on Jeffkillian's latest feature).

Go ahead and gimp the effectiveness of your thread if you want, seems a bit silly to me though.

Seeing as everyone agrees with Skyline I guess I'll remove the rule. (I fucking hate it when you're right.)

The above is a good example of the stuff you're going to get. No one has a clue what's good any more. Stick with older maps for sure.

He's had some quite good maps. I'm not too sure about other newer authors, most of them seem to be Evil_Sire accounts =/

That map is just so overcrowded with mines and it has a very busy gameplay, and some of the objects are spammed or/and not needed. That map deserves max 3.

agreed. Any "d-elemental" race is 5 times more feature worthy and 10 times more fun to play anyway.
