MRG Format

I just got an idea for something that should make the MRG a little more interesting, IMO. (Side note: it is funny how some ideas, in retrospect, seem so obvious.)
My idea is to take away this weekly schedule, and make it a first come, first served kind of deal. That is, when you post your rates, I put you down on a list, and as soon as I've got 5 people on that list, I put them in a group and off they go. In this format, there will no longer be any double-raters per se, but instead there will be people who post their rates so quickly that they get into another group before the week is out.
Also, in this new format, all other features would continue (suggestions, reminders, first post info, etc.), plus there is more incentive to get your rates in early, whereas in the current format, you can keep saying to yourself, "Oh, they're not due until Saturday night, I'll do it later."
Potential drawbacks:
- Some people might not be as motivated since there are no longer any hard deadlines. But I think the interest from people who are motivated by the first come, first served format should outweigh those who are demotivated by it.
- Really fast raters could get annoying. A sufficiently fast rater could be in every single group. IMO, that's not really a problem, but multiple fast raters would be, b/c IMO two or more people repeatedly being in every group is kind of annoying. But, if this situation arises, I'm sure I could come up with a system to limit them (fairly).
What do you all think?
