I'm often out of ideas for a new map, so in this thread, you give someone inspiration while getting some yourself. The purpose of this thread is so you might learn a new style of mapping and get good at it. Give someone an idea, it could be previously used, new, anything. Then use the one above your post.

Lets see....A beat the clock map, like 48.7 seconds before the drone train comes.

*Edit* I reckon the less descriptive you are the better the maps will be, as it leaves more room for your own ideas and things that come to mind.

A map which has a large minefield between you and the exit key, its easy to traverse the minefield to the exit key, but there's trapdoor switches beneath the exit key that active large walls of trapdoors that make the return journey difficult.

Hmm... Cool one, SkyPanda...

Anyways: an open room, jagged tiles around the edges. A different enemy in the center of each side. All are behind locked doors but the first one. Once you get the key at the first enemy, it unlocks the second enemy and trapdoors the first one in. So on until the fourth enemy's area contains the exit key.

Thanks :)
Mapped yours. Sort of. Used the basic concept, anyhow.

Hey, that turned out pretty cool. Got really hard by the end... I liked the increasing difficulty.
