We have a strong backline of admins on NUMA, but I do feel the site needs a more active groundsman to take my place. On that note, I've appointed origami_alligator as Admin. He's been the most active moderator by a long way, and he not only cares a lot about the way NUMA's run, but he puts the relevant effort in too.

He's also well respected by the community, and knows how to take and deal with people's crap efficiently.

I'll stay on the panel for a couple of days to ease the transition.

when i joined Numa, ATOB was one of the few authors still there that i recognized from the v1.4 userlevels. slowly, i watched as he kept the peace over disputed features. Then i saw him promoted to moderator, then drop the reviewer status and rise to admin. The mysterious person behind the news feed slowly became atob, no longer that unknown voice. Atob took control of the community, steered it in the right direction, won a dronie. i watched his maps appear more often on the featured page, and then, without a warning, he was gone. that is what i remember of Atob, he will be sorely missed. Here's to hoping he'll grace Numa with more wondrous maps, that Origami Alligator will be able to live up to those big boots, that he will accept my procrastinating reviewer application, and that someone will explain to me what Astheoceansblue means.
