Taking advantage of downtime.

As most of us know, NUMA was down for awhile, but it's back up. While it was down, I was wondering, would it be a good idea to take advantage of this downtime, to make a / map / s so that I would be able to upload them right as soon as NUMA was up again? I figured that by getting the first map posted on NUMA after the downtime would lead to a little more publicity, and that could be good.
But I personally decided against it, as I didn't feel like mapping in the first place, and using a minor dilemma on NUMA as my inspiration would be nonsense.
What do you think?

I made a map during the downtime, but I didn't post it because I figured that right after it ended everyone would post what they made during the downtime and maps would get pushed off of the hot maps page faster than usual.

I made a couple maps, and then took advantage of the downtime to have some people on IRC playtest them. I haven't submitted anything yet though.

I made a map, but i honeslty wasn't satisifed with it so I didn't bother submitting it.

I absolutely cannot map on command--sometimes I just feel like it, and make fifteen maps in an evening. This summer, though, I made around five maps total. So that was my problem.

There has to be a better reason than to get me mapping.

I'm not even sure I understand what you're getting at. I picked the last option regardless.

Yes,I thought that when Numa is down it'll be good to make maps and post them right after Numa is opened. But as OneSevenNine said I figured out that it'll be a bad idea to post maps, because that map(s) would get pushed off from hotmaps page as "179" said.
