NUMA down?

I'm currently trying to access NUMA from Tacoma, Washington, and my laptop cannot access the server. I'm assuming this isn't a global problem; otherwise, there would already be a post here about it, but does anyone have this issue? Or, does everyone have this issue? What's going on?

It's working for me too. Try pinging nmaps.net to see if it's a problem with your DNS servers. If you see any IP address other than 74.125.95.121 or 216.239.38.21, it's being resolved incorrectly. If you see 127.0.0.1, 192.168.X.X, or any other suspicious-looking address like 0.0.0.0 or 255.X.X.X, check the file c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in Notepad for any changes (if you see any line containing nmaps.net or the aforementioned IP addresses, remove it).

Pinging nmaps.net works---all four pings come back within 15ms. Weird; I still have the problem. NUMA does work through a proxy, though (not surprising).

If you think something is wrong with NUMA, make sure you send an email to one of the administrators (or even better, directly to arachnid) before you do anything else, including making a topic on the forum. This way they can be alerted as soon as possible and fix whatever issue is plaguing the site.

Odd suggestion, I remember arachnid changed the "real" address (or whatever, I have no idea about the terminology) from nmaps.net to www.nmaps.net - I wonder if your browser's not redirecting you correctly. Have you tried www.nmaps.net ?
