Reviewing Techniques

Alright. So apparently, people don't like the kind of stuff I've been writing of late. I just thought I'd explain how I go about reviewing a map. It's quite a simple process, once I've decided upon which map I'm going to review, I play it for anywhere between 10 minutes and half an hour, and try and think about what the map feels like, or what the map makes me think about. Then, I attempt to document these feelings in some kind of intelligible 100 word outpouring.
Just wanted to put this out there, without cluttering up the featured map.
As you were.

I like the way you've been doing it; continue. Don't listen to the ignorant masses. Anyway, this may shake your confidence in my reviewing abilities, people, but I like to not have played the map in quite a while when I write about it.
Might play it once or so. I make my decision as to whether a map will be featured right after I play it.

I just look at the thumbnail and write about how I think it's going to play.

Hey hey, guess what? I play maps, put good ones in my favorites, and review the ones that I feel like reviewing! Freaky, huh?!

The review is that little blob of text that sits next to the almighty thumbnail, right? Right? :)

When I was a reviewer my reviews often featured bad grammer, terrible metaphors, and lack of flare. I'm considering a second attempt at the position, accompanied by a more serious approach.
