It's definitely a work in progress right now, but I figured I'm better off getting people's opinions now rather than later.

I see a blog. Am I missing something? [not trying to be an ass or anything]

I've gotten some clarification from gloomp. From what he's said, it sounds cool. Good luck!

There are two milestones I'm looking at. First, there's the point at which I have cutenews.ru set up and working "well enough". ETA: 2 - 3 weeks
Second, there's the point at which I finally get off my ass and code the site properly. ETA: 2 - 3 months if not more, unless someone else has more spare time than I do.

Looks great, theme is a bit dull though. Looking forward to see the finished product.

I don't see anything interesting here neither, what did gloomp say to you?

I think they're trying to bring back bitesizeNUMA. The question here is, didn't it evolve into the current featured maps system?

Yes, it did. So then what is this site supposed to accomplish? Or is it just filling in where Arachnid has gone dormant? (i.e. you could work within the current feedback system, pushing for changing the featured system to 2 maps per day, except you'd have to first get a majority behind you and even then, Arachnid may not ever get around to coding it)
