Could you maybe rearrange the lists so that the people still in the competition come at the top of the list, followed by everybody eliminated? That would make the lists not so messy, and easier to see if you are still in.

Or make the font size smaller of those eliminated. I kinda like being a detached survivor at the bottom of the list ;)
