I saw you climb up the speedrun leaderboards back when i just played on SR. I see you've taken OJ's 07 ep sr. I used to play that but i really cant pull the route change on 07-2 off. Might try and beta your score ocne ima bit better :P But yeah, Welcome to the forums etc. Im much newer to N than most of the people here but it's still cool to see a good new player join the community.

That 7-2 route change is really hard to do, I agree, but thankfully the episode as a whole isn't too bad - I still can't get close to OJ on 7-4, though!

Hmmm, i probably like them both pretty much the same> i would eb happier to get a hs rather than a sr as they are a bit more fought-over and some good players never sr. Though some good players never highscore i suppose :/

Yeah, I know what you mean, Harveyy. Problem is, because of that, many of the highscore leaderboards are almost maxed out :/

The only scoreboard that is completely maxed is 59-0. There are several that require you to either max or get within 1 or 2 frames of max (5-2 being the most notable imo). There is also 92-4 that has one route maxed, but 2 different faster routes that are much more difficult to perform with 11 spots left. I think the bigger problem is that in the first year or two after v1.4 was released, there were several cheaters (kryX-orange/ANGERFIST, naem, Goo, etc.) that have clogged the leaderboards on many of the frame war levels, especially in episode 2 and on 90-3. However, if you are able to get on any of those levels, you get an amazing sense of accomplishment so its still worth trying.

I think there's a lot more competition in highscore. You look at the leaderboards, and all the level scores are very similar, with little deviation (the episodes, I admit, are more varied). This makes it very hard to get good ranking, because half a second could cost you several places :)
