Considering how good macrohenry is and how awful macrohunry is I doubt they're the same person.

Way back when, when the v1.4 levels were added, the rankers eventually simply stopped ranking v1.3c and v1.4 separately, to force people to take v1.4 highscoring seriously. It could help here.

Of course not. NHigh is a program which tells you how many Metanet Highscore 0ths/Top-20s you have. And you need to ignore the cheaters.

The Hackers and Known FBFers make sure to put on your ignore list you can make your own decision about the rest of the people.

I warn you though, however, that (on my computer anyway) every time you close NHigh, it resets the ignore list, which is a very annoying bug. This is how I fixed it:

1. Right-click on "nhigh.lib" and choose "Edit with IDLE"
2. In the window that comes up, find the line near the top that says "_ConfigField('ignoredPlayers', [...],"
3. Replace the stuff in the square brackets with the following:

This should ignore every hacker except for WatchﾠtheﾠReplayﾠHaveﾠFun whose name contains non-unicode characters for which nobody knows the unicode equivalents. He only has one highscore, though, and that's episode 0, which has nothing on it, so it makes no difference.

None of the cheaters are on my list - just hackers. Except for kryX which came by default.

A word about paulgummerson. His name is on the list, but all his highscores are seemingly legitimate. He only hacked one level, namely 00-0, but his time of 999.725 has been bumped off. I'll leave it to you to decide whether he should be re-included.

***Note*** I am posting this here too just because I think it is pretty applicable to the topic and just be in here for reference.

So I went through all of the metanet highscore boards and I compiled a list of all of the levels where are the 0th has a higher score than the 0th for that same map on the nreality highscore boards. I did this to give all of the highscorers in this community a list of levels to target. If all of these levels are taken using nreality then two things can happen. One I think that we can abandon nhigh and the metanet boards because all of the highest scores ever on each level will be 0ths on the nreality boards. Yes a lot of top20s will be lost, but I think it is something that the highscorers will be willing to sacrifice so that we don't have to bother updating our ignore lists and such, we all can be assured of a fair highscore board with nreality. I think sole reason we don't abandon the metanet boards even with all of the cheaters is because we don't want to lose some of the awesome runs that were done on v1.4 or previous ie. clux's 70-0. The second thing that we can do once all of the 0ths have been taken is that we could find the total highscoring time for the n community. I am sure that unreality could make a feature on n.infunity.com where it adds up the 0th time for each metanet level and gives the community's total time.

A few things about the list.

If the map has a higher score on the metanet boards than it does on the nreality legit boards it made the list. This includes times when a player has 0th on both the metanet boards and the nreality boards, but has a lower score on the nreality boards.

If the map had a tie for 0th but the 0th place person did the run on v1.4 and the 1st place run was done on nreality, this map still makes the list.

This list only deals with "legit" players who have submitted runs on v1.4 that are still 0ths. ie. kryX-orange, L3x, crappitrash... etc. are ignored along with all of the hackers.

The Name of the player next to the level number indicates who has the current "legit" 0th, but is not on the nreality boards.

trib4l is listed as having 4 0ths in the total 0th table, but 5 when its 0ths (without episode scores). How does this happen? Also, seems like Mr_Lim and eru_bahagon are tied with the most episode 0ths at 27.

FIXED. Sorry. It is because I have kryX-orange on my ignore list for nhigh, but his 25-2 run is legit, so for the 0th table with episodes I manually edited trib4l's 0ths forgot to do that for the non episode table.

0th Rankings changes since 11/9/09. xaelar loses three 0ths. eru, LAT, and Ben all lose one 0th each. golfkid picks up 1 0th, breaking away from the three way tie for 6th. Van picked up the most 0ths with three and is gaining ground on eru in 3rd. Izzy also took two 0ths moving from 14th to a tie for 11th.

So in #n-highscores today we decided to dethrone Mr_Lim from the Top 20 Rankings for the first time since some time before April of 2007 and this post.

Today was quite eventful too. The 0th count for van and I alternated like 4 times in a few hours (60-2).

Wait, hang on. Wasn't there a short period in late 2007/early 2008 where Hendor had 598 highscores and Mr_Lim only had 597 because he couldn't get on 90-3?
