This was fun, thanks for running the comp. It's a pity I had no time for round three. Good luck everyone!

Yours makes mine look stupidly complex, nice!

At a push 343 is probably do-able with that route. I really didn't fancy improving when you got 342 :P

Wow nice run, I never would've thought of that! I was almost positive you had the same route as me.

Good to see the "Group from Hell" lived up to its name, and we all made it through :-)

That's pretty much what I was thinking, glib. Although I have no idea how I ended up making it through the speedrun too, I thought for sure that there was no way I was going past the group rounds there.

Aww, I was hoping that our little group wouldn't be paired up against each other...

Looks like I'm probably not gonna make it to the semi in speedrun, and it'll be a hard time making it past xaelar too.

Question:

For Pro Speedrun in the first stage. Me, TFK, AMLT, and Golfkid were in a group. TFK, AMLT, and Golfkid all moved on, how is this possible? I thought only the top 2 were supposed to move on? also golfkid came in last in the group even with me not submitting a run for the first map, so if the top three move on then shouldn't have been me, TFK, and AMLT.

As of the second map the scores for the group were:

TFK - 7
AMLT - 4
Me - 4
Golfkid - 4

so based on the 3rd map, where TFK got golden player giving him 5 points, amlt came in second, I came in third, and Golf came in last, the scores should have been:

TFK - 12
AMLT - 7
TRO - 6
Golfkid - 5

So am I missing something? or what happened?

If by chance you made a mistake Seneschal, just leave Golf in There is no use messing with the groupings now.

TRO:
Seneschal in Format section of the rules wrote:After playing through the three maps, the player in each group with the most points will advance to the next stage. The four next people with the highest scores will advance as well.
So I think that you missing a demo on the first map screwed with your total score or something.

No, no, no. The top 1 in each group go through, and the 4 other people with the fastest total time go through as well, which is a massive change from BLUR 2.
TheRealOne wrote:I thought only the top 2 were supposed to move on?
I wish it were. I just wish it were.

I was 2nd in my highscore group, 5 points ahead of 3rd. I also had the 9th fastest total time out of 8 people who go through. BLeURgh.
Achievements:

Completed N and NReality.
106 N v1.4 highscores.
I used to maintain 1000 NReality Level Top20 Highscores - Ranked 0th
Former Owner of Episode 169, way back when.
I've taken 10 Metanet 0ths. 6 of them lasted <2 days. I don't have any of them anymore. >:(
Third Place in BLUR 4 highscore.
Not highscoring anymore until v2.

For the route I use, my speedrun is almost frame perfect. :)
No doubt there will be a faster route, however.

Edit: Improved it all the way to 377 with one small change, however I can't get it to be as almost frame perfect as before :(
