Yeah, I think it's a new route, I think. I was trying to use your route (shooting for the stars, I know, I know...), but I could never get the speed down to beat the non-seeking zap drone, so I just waited for it to pass and then the rest of the route kinda worked out really well with the drones and it let me preserve momentum, so yay.EddyMataGallos wrote:Nice runs man, I like your route in 26-1, is that new? I was thinking the same thing... even before lifdoff's route change. I also couldn't help myself, and I improved my top-20 so that I have the legit 1st. haha. My theory for this level, along with others like 85-1, is that the level is so long and tedious that not many people want to put in the time and effort necessary to get a really good score on it. So as a result, there hasn't been as stiff of competition throughout the years on levels like these. I think the reason that he got so much speed is that he hit the thwump at the exact moment when it changed directions or maybe 1-2 frames after that.
