Here's the exact same demo, except the objects and tiles have been re-positioned; it's intended to demonstrate how quickly terminal velocity is released. (Terminal in every sense of the word.)

OK.. what in the holy hell? If you play this in debug mode, he is boosted down... but in userlevels, he does not. I've double checked this... wtf? This is even weirder now...

Let me reiterate: the exact same map data/demo data produces different results within the physics engine, depending on which format its played back in... This is perhaps an even wilder discovery than when I found out that certain deaths do not produce deaths when played back in userlevels...
