Well, I did think of that too, but as usual just didn't take it the step further that it needed to go (Note to self: try all ideas, not just the ones that you know you can pull off). As soon as I saw Eddy's score... I knew. Good job, mate.

Thanks, I assumed you (and many others) had to had thought about this before, its just so obvious. I suppose most people didn't even bother trying because noone was doing it so it wasn't guaranteed to be possible/plausible.

Yeah, it was a bit like that; although the fact that nobody had utilized my initial strat should have been a warning sign. What is amusing is that a seemingly optimized level has been innovated 3 times in as many days to garner an almost 20% time saving.

Accidentally took 199-0 speedrun by a frame. Did the same a few minutes later on 199-1.

Edit: improved 199-1 by 2 frames.
Edit2: 2 more. Also somebody please take 144-3, that corner jump's just staring you in the face.
Edit3: 84-0 by a frame.
Edit4: 52-0 by 9 frames, I keep messing up endings with a bounceblock corner jump.
Edit5: 58-0 doesn't look too hard with my current route. I'm just terrible at corner jumps.
Edit6: Took 58-0 by 5 frames, still quite a bit more left.
Edit7: 146-1 by 5 frames 11 frames, slight innovation at the bottom. It's possible to get a boost off the left thwump on the fall, got 457 with that and a terrible bottom left section. Nice job by Eddy cleaning up 52-0.

Nice runs MiBeM, I had missed the 76-4 route it is pretty awesome. 8-2 is a solid run as well.

159-2 sr with an innovation, but there are several ways the corner jump could be implemented into a faster run :)

Edit:

Also, MiBeM, I kid you not, I already had a run beating that drone at the bottom -- but you pulled off the innov a lot faster than me (my run was/is 868f) ;)
