The only reason I "voted" in response to van's PM was to try and get this contest back on its feet. I frankly find this whole business rather childish and I find it very underhanded of van to have disclosed each respondent's position. I doubt he would have been so keen to list the names had they not been in his favor.

In the efforts of moving on, do we even need a specific host? All of the work around organizing the entries and groups is out of the way now. We just vote on a map, have Meta upload it, play it and move on in accordance to the brackets.

I kinda like 162849 - maybe a bit rocket heavy.

To prove I'm not power hungry, I'd gladly let Hendor regain control of Blur as it is after all his competition and does not condescend anyone and is a suitable mediator. Hendor, please PM me your thoughts on this, I also will send you my personal round 6 suggestion if you want. (actually krusch's suggestion to me)

Dislike: 162973 (once again, not suitable for this competition) 162849 is ok, but it's a bit monotonous and lacks replay value.
144672 - this is a joke... right? 198027 - ¿No? 186078 - too tedious and the fastest route is fairly obvious. 185678 - Another Riobe map? What's wrong with you? 158402 - *sigh* another Riobe map - this is also linear. So that leaves... no maps!

162973 - i need something better than 'not suitable', it's my competition and i find it absolutely suitable, hs route (for collecting gold inside of those bunches) isn't obvious, sr routes are perfect
162849 - i would find a lot of fun playing it, but okay
144672 - i thought it might be a little weird
198027 - i find it perfect, why no?
186078 - there are like thousands of little things where to improve, but ok
185678 - nothing is wrong with me, i just went through his maps; so any reason? drone might be removed so you don't have to wait few frames

Vankusss... you bailed on your own competition because you said you didn't care. Now obviously you regret saying that now, but until then we need trust that you /will/ care. As for the PMs: firstly, a PM you write yourself and is kept private isn't very convincing to me, secondly, people 'voting' for you are being disillusioned and bias and are only voting for you because you started it, not because they think you'll do a better job necessarily and perhaps would rather see you stay than run off crying again.

You have my trust until someone else tries to undermine me. That's why i wrote those maps here so you can dislike them all (what i expected you to do). What about writing YOUR candidates? For example you think that Aerobatics is perfect, i don't think so.

Yea, the main reason they are voting for me is because i started it and (maybe) they don't approve what you did. But, the reason i started is, is perfectly good reason to vote for me i guess. If it was ONLY about who's better in organizing, there will be 1 person running everything on this forums, right?

As for my candidates, I believe I have a good assortment, but don't want to list them all here now since I intend on using more than one of them. I'm asking Hendor via PM about next round's map and whether he approves or not. Then I'll put it to the players and we can stop this pointless arguing. If having your name slapped to this contest is what you really care about then that's fine, but that's not why I'm in it for. Also van, what you did, revealing player's names which I presume they thought would be a private response was a breach of confidentiality and yet another reason why they should not be relying on you to run this effectively.

Was I supposed to keep it to myself? That way, according to you, I might have had manipulated it. Also they all said it in public, too, so I don't see a problem. The reason it's done via PM's is that in poll anyone can vote, even people who aren't interested.
Yes, my name slapped to THIS contest is what I cared about, since I started it. Now I care about good map. And you might consider my opinion on that map you sent to Hendor, too.

Ok, here is the deal:

1. this whole highjack thing was about that i chosed a bad map (from my point of view, it was okay), but still no suggestions, or EVEN OPINIONS, clearly noone except ska and Hendor and 999 cares about what map is chosen
2. i offered ska to choose all maps, he just said he likes vaginas
3. for next rounds i'll be probably looking for separate hs and sr maps, it will make the search easier

for now, i'm creating poll with 184079, 162849, 162973 and http://tro.pastebin.com/rmUCeYSp those are maps which got at least little positive feedback

EDIT: however if you still have some suggestions (ska?), comment them here (but try to find at least 1 more person who likes it, too)

Surprisingly, I'm willing to make this compromise. I'll PM you my choice, then everyone can vote for either mine or your best choice. We can confer and decide on the official map and this situation will be hopefully resolved without bloodshed.

Doing a little backseat moderating here. I would suggest that people are still in the contest and voting in this poll post and just say that they voted, there is no need to say which you voted for although that shouldn't matter. The reason I say this, is that it will get everyone involved again it will make everyone feel that it is the people's choice of what get chosen and alleviate the possibly for another edrama session. It will also help van know when he can count up the poll and post the new map ASAP.
