Well, I rebuilt the situation and with the new level it was pretty easy to redo it.

Come to think of it; I think I have seen this before. Anyway, nice party trick.

While I'm here, I took 182-3 with an innovation.

Took the 47-4 speedrun 0th with an innovation. It could be a lot faster though.

I got an amusing high score on 29-1. Not a particularly good run, but I have the only high score where the "hounds" get released...

I had to improve my run to stay in the high scores, unfortunately the hounds had to stay caged up this time :(

i'd always wondered whether a "hound release" highscore was feasable. Now I know :)

map number 111,
142.175, a more than average run, over 3193 frames.
The first 2/3 were pretty messy, but the last seconds, starting with the drone dodge at frame 28xx, were nearly godlike ;D
I love this level and it still can be improved by much more, several seconds.

Underclock runs- I wanted to point out a few levels I've played in underclock mode. Some of these levels have better scores than the current highscore table. Some have innovations and some dont. Maybe some of you guys can come up with better demoes.

03-0- zero innovation
06-1- zero innovation
20-2- zero no innovation
27-0- zero no innovation
28-2- zero innovation
42-3- zero innovation
53-2- non zero innovation. Want to see if someone else wants to try it
65-3- non zero innovation. Want to see if someone else wants to try it
76-2- zero innovation
88-4- zero used a few tricks from crappitrash and lookatthis (was trying to do the thwump squeeze like blobglob)
90-3- zero no innovation
99-0- zero no innovation

62-3- speedrun innovation (read about this one some topic but can't find it)
74-1- speedrun innovation

By the way xaelar that run on map 111 :O

road_rage -

03-0 isn't really an innovation, it's just that because the trick is a pain in the @$$ to pull off first try both xaelar and my runs have poor endings because we just wanted a relatively clean finish. In reality 03-0 can probably be improved by about 2 seconds just with a couple of tricks I know of that each save some time. while this would be easy to do in underclock, redoing the trick over and over until you get a perfect ending isn't worth it in real time.

65-3 is effectively just a version of l3x's old route and I doubt that it can be made faster than the route tfk found.

62-3 I believe it was Izzy and I who worked this out on IRC. Since I have the 0th anyways I decided to give up after pulling it off twice and getting myself killed before finishing.

74-1 I just tried it out and man is it insanely easy. I am ashamed not to of thought of it before, truly ashamed :(

Anyways, nice job keeping underclock alive and using it the way it's supposed to be used. I hope to see more of these from you. Also, I may give some more responses to the runs you posted later on.

Edit: Just wanted to mention that if I'm off in any details it's because I was responding purely from memory.

Yea I'll probably play around with a few more levels.
BTW darkshadow I think you meant to say 74-1 cause I haven't played 74-3 yet...either way good job doing it on speedrun mode!

Improved my 76-2 to within 1 frame of your underclocked demo. Nice eyes to see that.

Edit: *Shakes fist at xaelar*
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point
[16:25] <trance> Oh, yeah. That level.
[16:29] <@golfkid> lol
[16:30] <@golfkid> It looks so simple
[16:30] <@golfkid> But it says "NO! I will rape your sanity!"

Ahh yes, one of my first and favorite innovations of the post legit mode legacy levels. I used practically nothing of the old route at all.

Edit: Thanks for the mention ska :)
