After watching ska and van's runs, broke 144 myself. Subbed my old run because there wasn't anything new in it. Pretty much the same except for the top part, I reversed the middle and right sides because I just couldn't see a good way to go from the right back to the middle. Guess I was wrong about that.

I haven't been able to execute it properly yet, but its got potential for 146.2 or even .5. I'm currently at 145.5.

So jp and Eddy didn't submit a demo, which is kind of sad. And it looks like ska didn't submit his best demo, so I guess he went with the mercy kill on me. Does that signify a lack of interest in continuing?

Ah damn, I was waiting till tomorrow, I got confused with the deadline, I didn't even have a definitive run, at the moment I'm currently standing at 146.275 but didn't want to submit until I got around to get the full potential of this (I got .800 AGD -1 once). I can submit now if you wish though, according to the main post it will count towards the total score leaderboard.

EDIT: I do want to continue btw, I forgot but I don't want the comp to end.

Yeah sorry I kind of forgot about the deadline too, submitted my run.
Only managed 145.925, I was planning on improving it but I still don't think I'd have beaten ska/eddy.

Like Eddy said I am still interested in this (lost my sol yet again when my laptop died so I'm not playing Metanet levels much).
Also, I have no idea what timezone the nreality servers are on, which doesn't help remembering when to submit it :p

Edit: Damn I was actually quite a long way ahead of Eddy until that bounceblock.

LOL - I spent the entire weekend with my grandparents with no internet connection (no phone connection for tethering, either, which sucks) and then to make things worse, I lost my sol just like JP. I don't know how, but it looks like I'm back to an old backup again. Seems like N players were cursed... No matter, I got the point at least.

After what I thought would be a very varied map last week but wasn't, this one is the most linear so far. There's a ton of time to lose all over the place though, so I would expect the spreads to be larger maybe.

I've managed a 238 so far. I'm not getting the two gold at the beginning, trying to find a way to work them in.

This looks like a pretty solid time, especially as you aren't getting the 2 starting gold yet.
Had a quick go and managed a 235, my large gold room is all over the place at the moment. I feel like we might see quite a bit of variation there.

I guess this one may be the "most linear" out of any of these maps we've had so far, but linear is not one of the first words I would have ever picked to describe it. Especially considering the fact that you can complete the level without ever opening any of the locked doors. So, for it being a "linear" map, I can be pretty confident that if I ever try for an agd route (with the possible exception of the first two) it will be very different from any of your other routes.

Also, is there any possibility of you keeping the rundowns of each week so we can see them somewhere? I think those are pretty cool to read the analysis and be able to look back at it.

i have, but my best so far is so far behind you and lou that I don't even want to put it up on the excel sheet because it doesn't really look like its a serious time. Don't know if I'll have time to try and significantly improve tomorrow or not, so what I have may end up being my final score. Lets just say its under 200 seconds, and by more than just a hair.

My biggest problem with highscoring is that I never know what to do with large open spaces with a lot of gold, such as the area on the right of this map. Got a reasonably fast route and an ok run together though.

Hey everyone. Thanks for the fun, but unfortunately, I have decided to drop out from the comp. I have a full week of work related commitments and am in the process of completing my novel, which leaves very little time to continue competing at a level that I would like to in this contest. Apologies to LouDog; unfortunately, as you pointed out, this community simply isn't what it once was. I think Blur 4 in 2010 marks the last "true competition", in the sense of where we had a large playing field combined with a high level of skill.

Once again, sorry... I'd be willing to let someone take over my spot if they wish and LouDog permits it.
