Me and van were talking about beating the drone on 49-3. But like that start to 49-2 I really think there is another big innovation there, but the drones make it hard as hell to plan. This was a big week for the highscores, 11 level had 0th changes. xaelar was a juggernaut this week taking or improving 0ths 14 times. He started off taking Lat's 73-2 by 3 frames and then improving to 13 frames faster. He also beat Road_Rage's underclock run in the process. He then took Lim's Ep73 by almost 3 seconds to secure his third Ep ownage to go along with Ep 71 and Ep76. Could we be seeing the works of the first column domination since the Trib4l days? xaelar then took his 4th Ep ownage all at once with Ep38. xaelar went from having 1 0th in Ep38 to all 6 in one fell swoop including improving his only 0th there -4. Vankusss was the only player to defend their 0ths after xealar took them. He may have also not wanted xaelar to have more Ep ownages than him. After xaelar took van's 38-3 van made a complete route change to the right side of the map and beat xaelar's new 0th by .300 seconds. xaelar, ever the cleaner, used van's new route to take the 0th back by .325 seconds. But the battle did not end there as so many bouts with xaelar do. Van came back strong and cleaned further for 4 frames and then again for 8 more frames bring the 0th 1.175 seconds faster than van's original 0th. This effort by van keeps the our top two highscorers tied with 3 Ep ownages each and only 8 0ths separating them; although van has an ugly asterisk next to his Ep8 ownage for the tie on 8-3, and you guessed it, he is tied with xaelar. Ska was the only mover this week because of xaelar taking Lat's 73-2 Ska has now entered the top 5. If he seeks to move further up he will have to start attacking Lim's 0ths. He also improved his 56-4 this week by 1 frame shy of a half second. The final 0th taker this week was the mysterious TWA. He improved his great 59-4 run by 2 frames. This week the community improved its total level score by +3.175 seconds and its total episode score by +8.450 seconds.Seconds - 71817.625

You should get back in to it. You have the opportunity for 2 for Ep ownages and you are only 8 0ths back. xaelar can't be left unchecked to wreak havoc.
20 hours will be a huge achievement for the community if it ever happens. It will certainly need big improvements on tough levels like 96-4, 85-1, 83-3.. etc. But the cheated time is already up to:

So it is certainly not impossible. And our route change on 61-2 for 4.675 seconds certainly shows that there is still a lot of time that remains unfound.

Well this week was all xaelar. This week our 0th ranked player successfully defended two of his 0ths from van. He took a 0th from both of his closest competition, van and Lim, in the process retaking two of his now four episode ownages. He also improved one of his own 0ths by a frame to break up the tie Seifer had. So to get started van took 23-1 from xaelar in attempts to complete an episode owange there. However this was based on my outdated information I posted last week, so he didn't actually get the owange. (Sorry buddy) He only took the 0th by a frame which xaelar promptly took back. Van also broke up xaelar's Ep ownage on Ep73 by taking -4 with a fantastic route change. Van's innovative sense saved a frame over half a second, but xaelar cleaned van's route and saved another .525, in total improving the original 0th by 1.050 seconds. The rest of the 0th changes, like I said, were all xaelar. He took 38-3 from van again after some fierce competition last week. This gave him his 4th episode owange, one more than van. xaelar also took Lim's quite old 69-3 by 7 frames and improved his 43-3 by a frame with a run of fantastic precision. As a whole the community improved +1.925 seconds of total level score.Seconds - 71819.550

This week had two big 0th improvements and one frame war snipe. After several different iterations of a route on 61-4 van finally found one that worked and beat Lim's original 0th by three frames over 3 seconds. This gave van the top 5 0th to 1st differences, certainly exemplifying his innovative prowess. Then xaelar stepped in with a stunningly clean run, but he missed the final CJ of the run. Even with that mistake he was still able to beat van by 1 frame, proving that there was still a large amount of time left in van's route. Van cleaned up his run and over took xaelar by a frame over half a second. He now sits 3.625 seconds over Lim's original 0th. xaelar also set his sights on van's 56-0 after spotting some sloppiness in van's run. xaelar threw down a very clean run with a great ending, even getting a thwump clip for some extra speed, beating van by 1.100 seconds. These two 0th changes worked in xaelar's favor because he gained one total 0th on van, widening the gap to 12 0ths. With out including 0th ties our two top player now own a staggering 320 0ths outright. Ska also joined the fun this week snagging 78-3 off of the anonymous macrohenry by a frame. There can't be too many more frames you can sneak by that drone, but seeing huge time saving innovations we are seeing these days, does anyone have an idea how to beat the first drone? Ah shit. I am an idiot. For some reason I had it in my head that those happened last week. The way I keep track of the 0th changes for the week is I try and update my nhigh once a day at least and then I copy the changes in to a notepad. The system usually works.
