I'm going to have to withdraw myself from the judging this week. I am under a great deal of stress here at home and I barely have free time anymore. I'm very sorry for this inconvenience and I do hope to be back for the next week. Good luck everyone!

School never stopped me >:(Ferox wrote:I am going to have to resign. I've been on vacation, just got back, and school is starting up again.
Why does everybody care so much about school all of a sudden? I've had numerous people telling me they're pulling out because school is starting up, or they need to revise for exams 6 months away. Come on people. Lighten up a bit.

For some people, midterm exams are coming up.. time till the exams are counted in days, not weeks or months. They're not cool like us who have them before winter break. Note to those that do have school and exams now... making a single race, even one with a ton of effort put into it, will not come close to overlapping with school. Just keep that in mind before you quit.Destiny wrote:School never stopped me >:(Ferox wrote:I am going to have to resign. I've been on vacation, just got back, and school is starting up again.

Today I did 8 hours of work straight (a whole university maths assignment, and programming test), and still made a race. Just to test my theory. I declare it solid.

I somewhat see where others are coming from though. Destiny, you can make a race real quick man, i mean, you've got tons of experience compared to some others. But then again, I do agree that school doesn't suck up that much time.

My races tend to take around three hours average, though you are correct and i'm a fast mapper. The better you get at making races the longer it takes you to create them. It's just one of those wierd things. I remember being able to spit out a race within 20 minutes...etdeshon wrote:I somewhat see where others are coming from though. I'm afraid I must regrettably inform you that I am withdrawing from the internet, aside from the weekly music trade.
Unfortunately, this does render me unable to continue competing. Sorry. :/

Sweet, round three! I'll get right on that. But everyone has problems with that floorguard when I thought it was pretty easy... all you have to do is hold right all the way through that section and it'll never kill you. Hold right when you enter, as you hit both launchpads, as you go over the floorguard, and as you jump into the quarter loop down into the launchpad for the next area. I understand your frustration though, just saying my intentions there :)
