Hey, dudes.

I know that it's taken forever for this. School just started, it was a collaborative mapping contest, which is the toughest to judge and set up, and also, there were about fifteen drop-outs, many of whom did not even have the courtesy to come and tell one of us. However, judging/assembling has finally been completed! There were some really fantastic submissions this round, and some really horrid ones. (bobaga_fett built the wrong space, for instance. I left his square blank.)

So, without further adieu!

Here is a pastebin with each of your submissions plus the assembled maps: http://pastebin.com/f6b97d972

Next, a special thanks to heatwave and squibbles, who both agreed to submit an extra map to fill in the gaps occupied by dropouts. Without these guys, more of you would have been eliminated immediately, and nobody wants that! So thanks!

And special thanks to Yanni, for being a sex machine.

The following people are exempt and move on to the next round! Daikenkai, Scrivener, Zephyr, amomentlikethis, EdoI, Hoohah2x2sday, Brainstone and Riobe. These guys all made spectacular map portions (and a lot of people who didn't slide through did as well) and will be guaranteed a spot in ADMINISTRONG round two. Grats!

We'll be withholding the scores and any comments made until the end of the round. Hang tight.

For the rest of us, here are the map groupings. The names in bold are the people who will be in charge of giving in the completed project. As an aside, boba, feel free to fill your block with whatever without penalty.:
Maps Ahoy!
Map1: aapse, Avarin, bobaga_fett, DemonzLunchBreak, kkstrong, Tunco

Map2: Cheez, ChrisE, chocollama, Diamondeye, Manus Australis, yungerkid

Map3: flagmyidol, lukesv, Fraxtil, heatwave, MattKestrel, squibbles2

Map4: Inspired, natrues peril, ninja_matt, nevershine, Rit0987, heatwave2

Map5: numa_ninja, Rhekatou, OneSevenNine, Techno, gloomp, eternal_moonlight

Map6: Pikman, scythe, rocket_thumped, TheEverPresent, crescor, Furry Ant

Map7: Seneschal, SeventhSpirit, Why Me, Aphex, Destiny, guy_zap

Map8: Skyline, squibbles, BionicCryonic, etdeshon, Aldaric, im_bad_at_n

Map9: Skyray, Ad, Aristolipto, bufar, Izzy, romaniac

And to clear up some final loose ends.

Those in bold are, in fact, deemed the worst at this point in the competition. As such, along with the extra responsibility of turning these messes into playable maps, they are also allowed to change their portion as much as they want, without penalty.

Part two of this is that these maps were assembled by two dudes using very different methods. (I did four of these by hand and Yanni did five using notepad) so if there are any discrepencies, don't bitch, but please let your head mapper know.

Oh, and you guys have a week. For serious this time. If this isn't submitted in a week by at least one of the members of the group, all six of you are eliminated.

Have fun!

Sorry about that. I'm just way too happy today.

Orange- N cannot be spoken, or even thought about in my household. If my parents ever found out that I have played N since the cleansing, my life would be ruined. I keep the game in a multi-passworded .rar on a USB flash drive inside a locked boron alloy container that requires two keys to open (I keep one under the 64th hammer in my piano, and the other one in a small section of removable ceiling in the corner of the attic) hidden in a wall compartment lined with aluminium foil to prevent sonar detection behind my 375 kg cupboard, which is bolted to the floor - the only way to reach it is to abseil outside the fourth floor window and use a screwdriver to unfasten the screws holding the secret brick in place on the opposite side of the wall, but the screwdriver must be a specific type like the one I own, since if any other screwdriver comes into contact with the screws, the entire building will explode, as will a seperate charge placed inside the boron alloy container, rendering the USB useless. Even once the container is retrieved, attemping to open it without the arming pin in place (which is kept inside the battery compartment of my Maglite) will cause the water reservoirs lining the container to burst and react with the caesium lining, causing the container to burst into flames - the only way to prevent this is to use the arming pins to shut off the reservoirs with a sliding steel door. The USB itself contains an accelerometer linked to an explosive charge, meaning that if the USB detects its own movement speed as being greater than 5 cm/s, it will explode - any person attempting to steal it would have to move at a uselessly slow speed. Once plugged into a computer, the USB will upload a ghost virus onto it, leaving no traces. Only the right password can deactivate this virus, and if it is left on the computer for more than six hours, it will format all drives.

As you can see, I take my N playing very seriously.

Guiseppi- I'd much rather watch animals get boned in the ass.

Yanni- If it's glad, it's not rape.

Tsukatu- I refuse to use throw-away bags for such a frequent purpose as buying groceries. Instead, I've collected the hair of my two pet dogs and have woven them together into an all-natural, 100% environmentally friendly bag that I bring with me everywhere. And when I buy products that come in glass and plastic containers, I track down the company that packages them and ship back their containers so that they don't take up space in landfills.

Yeah, I use plastic.

Tsukatu- I hear Ebony Online is great, too. Cum save your princess, my lord!

Ska- UR MUM LIKE IS SPICY

Ska- why d i get the feeling what i typed will end up in the quote depository; or worse: someone's sig.

KinGAleX- I did it on the couch a little while ago.

Zeph- I got too pissed at the knife in the end so I just broke the wood on my knee

Huh-buh-duh-wha? I posted a script to assemble maps in the old topic. You could have asked LV, incluye, Suki, or I; I'm sure we all would have been happy to help!

Oh, I hate to be a hassle, but uh, the map that appears in map8, uh, isn't my submission. I did post that in the thread, however we were informed that final submissions would be done by PMing the set up account, and the map I PM'd was an entirely different one. I decided that I actually disliked what I'd done, and chose to make a new one, going through the final submitting process with that map.

it's here: http://www.nmaps.net/191492

Sorry to be the hassle. :/

First off, as for editing, your job is to do the best with the parts you have. Some editing is expected, sure, but if you completely change somebody else's part, then you're going to get penalized.

Second, since a vast majority of you didn't even bother to send your maps via PM, I took the maps from the thread. If you never edited your previous post to remove that map, there's no reason to not assume that that was your final submission. I'm sorry that you decided at some later date that you disliked your map, but you had plenty of time to advise me or edit the post. So, the one seen here is final.

Third, I'm not quite sure what happened to you, Brainstone. If I got your PM, it must have been mixed in with all the others, and you fell to the side. So, in order to amends, you'll also have a pass to Administrong Round 2. Congratulations, and sorry.

Just found this thread... Perhaps linking it in former threads of the contest is an idea...

And @ team (Map2: Cheez, ChrisE, chocollama, Diamondeye, Manus Australis, yungerkid): Wow, we need to do some work on this one... I think we should start a thread/PM conv, but I'm omw out the door.

I PM'ed you a completely different map. Plus I edited the one that I submitted in the old thread a bunch, but didn't update it because I scrapped it.

Well. I'm glad you liked it. And I think you should have judged the maps people pm'ed you, because that's what you said you were going to do. Oh well, I guess I'll just be grateful :D

I have no problem judging maps that people PM'd me if they really want, it's just the reintegration that is irritating.
