Nhigh : do you guys want new functions ?

Here is the latest version. Still unable to find why the nhighconfig file acts so randomly. No idea how to make it different.
It corrects some glitches, like top20 and Kool's issue on 10-3.

Ok. I changed the way the configfile is saved (now it's binary). Works perfectly on xp and mac (yes!). I hope it will work for you too.

For the format thing, you can now open nhigh.pyw with a text editor, and put COLUMN_REP = 0 instead of 1 on line 33. Save and launch again and you'll have the old representation.
(I don't wanna put that in config file or whatever, you are not supposed to change it every day)

Tell me if anything goes wrong.


PS : this version might have some new functions, like player's comparison with...

It takes a little getting used to, but yeah. Nice! I vaguely recall suggesting this and had some deja vu seeing the alignment (thinking i'd read a post regarding it, which obviously I had, otherwise, why would there be a connection ;) Good job :D

Edit: just reviewed your old post (and saw what you wrote about column structure, me, darkshadow etc (14chars) and it came back to me. Thanks for the update. It now finally seems perfect to me! :) Congratulations on being awesome!

Hey eru, what about ep ownage and partially ep ownage features? I dont know if this has already been suggested.
By partially ep ownage I mean episodes in which you have a level left to ownage, 2 levels left to ownage, 3 levels left to ownage, etc. Do you think this could be possible?
Oh btw new version works perfect for me too, and new style is great :D

mmm first time installing nhigh... I downloaded python but when I doubleclicked on nhigh.pv I get a "Invalid Version Specification "w", the first line of code python should be followed by a valid version code"

Some players might have improved their scores of course, in which case it'd rather be a list of "0th that would have qualified for a current top20 if the player hadn't improved the score", clear example, johnny's 00-1. Its interesting that over half of all 0ths are now gone of the top20. I've added these to my NHigh but I'm not publishing it since this thing is pretty crappy xD Unless of course anyone is actually interested.

If anyone wants some new functions you can also tell me, although as I've often expressed, not only my knowledge in python sucks, but also I haven't inspected the code thoroughly so I'm not sure how scores are saved and sorted and so on, it definitely isn't like I do with my version for N v2.0, hence all functions are done differently.
