Oh the memories.



I was particularly proud of having martyr, AMLT, Skyline and Mechtradevil all comment on it. Cause it was really cool to see 4 of your favourite authors recognise you for something.

Well this isn't the first map I ever made, but it is the first one I ever submitted. I liked it because it was one of the few maps that was completable both with and without NReality, and because each required different routes.



Nice idea for a thread by the way. I believe that by authors showing off their earliest maps, newer mapmakers may feel some encouragement, that they too can become better mapmakers despite the quality of their own starting maps. (that some of the best mapmakers started out bad, too.)

At least, that's how I would feel if I were a new mapmaker...

It was my REAL first map, not just my first submitted map.

In case you're wondering, when I first joined this community (back in '05!), I used the username theBAMNman. Then I took a long break and when I came back, I wanted a fresh start on NUMA, so I got a new username, Nexx.

My first sub... actually pretty well received.
