Hello, all,

I have downloaded N-Game for my Mac and i cannot save my game, whenever my game is closed all game data will be lost, i have tried searching for the .sol file, it is non-existent, i have read around and seen that some other few people have also been experiencing this problem with Macs.

I have copied the game to my hard-drive, i have read through all the files, and i have done everything it says. Great game, but i wish i could keep my data. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Oh, and yes i have gave FlashPlayer access, and i have set the usage limit to unlimited, i have also tried it on 10mb to see if that would have made a difference. I do believe that the problem may be in the .sol file not being created for some reason.

I would really appreciate any help or ideas that anyone may have.

Thanks,
Phizzsta

Just tried re-downloading, no success, haha no I am not on a server. My own computer, there are a few others with the same problem as me, seems to be something to do with Macs?

I know this must sound obvious but,...,
Have you downloaded the Mac version?

Hahah yep, the only version that would work on a Mac is the Mac version lol, I have tried both file types. Hmmm *thinks*... I hope there is a solution!

I've got yet another obvious solution. Get a non-mac comp.

Mmm, these kind of problems are common on Macs.

A solution which is actually practical is to find the folder where Flash stores its data (I forget what it's called on a Mac) and delete any folders related to N. It'll probably be a folder with a random string of numbers for a name, with the file "n_v14b_userdata.sol" in it. I've also heard of N spawning other random folders, in which case deleting all those folders is supposed to fix it in some cases. Be careful what you delete, though (and it's not a bad idea to make a backup first).

Navigate to here:

/Users/Short name/Library/Preferences/Macromedia/Flash Player/#SharedObjects/(random series of letters and numbers)/localhost

That's where your .sol should be.
