N saving problems

Yes, i know, on the other forums as well as here, this has been talked about for a long time. But what happened recently is very strange. I had unlocked 2 flavors and at least two episodes beaten for every column (except for the 80s). One day, I come home start N, and realize that I had lost all my progress. I tried pretty much everything, from re-downloading N to trying to go to library, macromedia, programs (the sequence to delete the old memory file). Except that there is something missing in macromedia, so i can't reach the file where the progress is stocked (if you see what i mean). I might want someone to remind me the sequence, I sort of forgot. I have a MacBook G5.
If anyone knows how to fix my problem, or has any idea how to, please reply.

EDIT: Yay, i found localhost! But there's no .sol file in it. I restart N but no .sol file appears. Any idea why?

I personally don't know of much. Though I have heard a lot of people around talking about this :)
They seem to know a lot about it so hopefully your prob will soon be no more =|

Ummm... I figured the problem... My friend has sent me a .swf of N saying it was better. No memory losses. The .swf was the one I needed to play to save progress. I deleted it and now I'm fine. I already unlocked two flavors and I am working on the third.

The .swf is illegal. Don't use it. Use NReality (for the extra features and episodes) and just remember to regularly back up your data.

How would I know? The same friend sent me the program without the license and all that. When I redownloaded N, I read the license and deleted the .swf which happened to be why I couldn't save. That's how I fixed everything (I had to start N over though).
