I just imported my progress from a Mac laptop and am now playing on my XP Home desktop. Gameplay is pretty smooth overall, but becomes very chooppy for a second when the ninja lands connects with any solid surface (walls, mines, floor, etc). I tried starting a fresh game with no progress and gameplay is the same. Problem should not be rooted in hardware as I put in a 9800GTX+ and decent Intel C2 Duo.
What is going on here?

You've just described "lag" . What is your ms/f number in the bottom left? Also N is very computer intensive, try closing out other programs.

N should fly on that thing, regardless.

I just hate admitting to lagging...ms/f is steady at 8; when I run it Ive got about 45 processes or so...that includes flash player, mouse/keyboard controls, & sound card controls - no programs that would significantly impact game performance
yes it should fly; COD4 & others do...
btw it ran better on my laptop (sold it), even though the fps was ~22
just curious but why is it running w/ flash player 7 only - was it built for that version? I tried an online vers and it was using 10...
