.sol problem

Hey guys, I can't save my progress for N at all. I'm on a Mac, OS X 10.5.5

I tried finding it, but I can't find the local host folder nested within the 'random numbers & letters' folder. I made a local host folder, and placed the .sol file from my online progress in the local host folder, but that didn't do anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are you actually running N from your computer or are you playing a hacked version on a website?
The localhost folder is created since that is the location of the game. If you're not playing it on your computer (which is localhost) it won't be there.

Make sure that Flash is allowed to store data on your computer too (right click, go to the appropriate tab, and slide the slider to Unlimited)

I downloaded the game and it is in my applications folder. I didn't find the folder. Also the slider was already set to unlimited when I checked. Either way, that was one of the first things I did, a while before I posted here. ehhhh

Move N to a higher-level location, like the disk drive, run N, then see if you can find it.

I'm having the same problem on the mac, also OSX 10.5.5. Storage is allowed in Flash and I've moved it all over my HD no change. Is this a bug?

Ummmm... Yeah. I started a topic about something like this. I downloaded N, found localhost... But there's nothing in localhost... I lost two flavors... Maybe it is related to opening a .swf version of N with N. I tried "open with" with N. Could someone answer my post please on the other topic.

I think the error is related to the fact that you've been playing from an online version, most likely N v1.2.

The downloaded game is N v1.4 and that is where the problem lies if you have tried porting your previous data over.
