N+ for DS is the only version I own, and it's been worth the $20. It takes getting used to, though, even for an experienced N player.

I've heard a comparison by a few people, and I hear that the N+ version for the DS was problematic. M&R themselves said they couldn't wrangle everything they wanted from its design. I'm figuring the XBLA one is the best.

N+ for XBLA. The other two were changed too much, and have too many bugs in them.

I have none, but I heard XBLA is the best.

The XBLA is the most similar to the original, and therefore gets my vote.

N for PC!
I think N+ kinda ruins the classical style that we all love.
but if I have to choose...XBLA
Even although, I played it like once ^^

Having played N+ on both PSP and DS, I'd definitely say Xbox. The graphics on the handhelds don't compare.

It's a shame that the handhelds fall so flat on their face with this. Having the Xbox 360 set such a high bar to beat left them rolling on the floor in dismay. This is unfortunate, yet the Xbox 360 plays best for me.

I've played the PSP and Xbox versions, and I wouldn't say that the PSP version absolutely falls flat on its face or anything. The Xbox version is still better though, yeah.

I haven't played the psp version, but if you compare the DS and Xbox versions, Xbox kicks @$$.

From what I can tell, the XBLA version is the best, which is a shame because my level ended up in the DS version.

Hmmm. I really dislike the XBLA version. Feels weird. Of course, portability is the advantage to N+, and based on the bugginess of the DS, the PSP wins for me.
It isn't a perfect game, however. The graphics look kind of blocky, like most DS games. But if you own a PSP, that's my recommendation.

I personally love the Xbox version of N+, as, from what I'e heard about the other two, they're kind of clunky. Other than that, I just adore it for the Xbox 360, as, the Multiplayer is amazing, the soundtrack is awesome, and the new enemies are fun.

I had a blast with your level in the DS version, epigone. It's one of the only levels so far that allows you to use the dual-screen to your advantage. It fits the game so well. Great work. :Depigone wrote:From what I can tell, the XBLA version is the best, which is a shame because my level ended up in the DS version.

I've only played the DS version of the game, but it led me to playing N, so I'm grateful for that. The only reason I picked it up was because of a post-mortem about the XBLA version in the new issue of Game Developer magazine. There are definitely things that could be improved, however considering the $20 price tag and the fact that it's portable makes it a winner for me. If I had a PSP, I would probably own both versions.
The biggest problem I have with it is the level editor. I don't like how I can't line certain objects and tiles up the same way I can in N. I ran into this problem when I was trying to re-create my Outer Castle level for N+, and I just can't seem to get it to work right. :P

I voted for the PSP version because of I have it but also because the levels are cool. I mean you can play it where ever you go. I don't believe the levels are the same as the DS and they are a bit easier from the Original N.

Got it for DS today. It is very, very sexy. My only qualms are that the bounceblocks are bizarre, and the rockets and floorguards seem too slow since the ninja runs faster in this game.
The XBLA version is a blast, although I have only played it other folks' houses as I do not own an Xbox.

and to think ive been going to the old forums for the past 2 weeks... no wonder no one was replying lol. and yes id have to go with the XBLA version... ive played all three and id say they go down in this order (in my opinion at least)
1.XBLA
2.PSP
3.DS
DS doesnt really give me much to look forward to either way with games for it, so sadly i didnt really look into playing that one
The XBLA one i was excited for, not only that the new version was coming out, but that they started having DLC map packs :) and lots of new pieces for the editor and all the rest of the goodies :)
The Psp version however, was very glitchy in someways but still offered a good feel to it for me. like it was comfortable to play. i liked the options also how you could switch between Plus and Classic version styles.
i also thought for the XBLA one, it was unique of them to put in new ninja looks instead of just colors :) especially the most recent of them, Gordon freeman <3.
so theres my look on things...
